Original Magnet Frame by Canetti-5x7 inch

I just opened the frames received only to find that they are NOT Canetti frames.I have numerous Canetti frames and they are thicker with rounded edges.

I was retiring and I wanted to give my supervisor an unusual gift. So, I picked a photo that would mean something to him and had to find the perfect frame, one he could use once the "photo" had been seen. I was very impressed with this frame, one I received it. It was heavy glass, smooth, with tiny magnets in the four corners of each half. Photo is placed in the middle and the two halves cling together to make the photo look like it is floating in mid-air. A 5+ for this item. Want to buy more in several sizes (if available) for photos around my place.

Both 6”x8” clear and 4”x10” clear by the same Canetti manufacturer is 1” thick depth. You can check the Canetti website to see more pictures and demensions.So I don’t understand about the other reviewer stating that it’s thicker. Maybe an older version was thicker but the clear ones sold on the manufacturers website is 1” thickAnd as a prime member I get free shipping. Even on the manufacturer’s website currently charges shipping at the time of when I wrote this review.There is 4 magnets on the 6”8” size and the 4”x10” size has two. Same as the manufacturer website.As far as the 4”x10” frame with only 2 magnets - it worked for me but I use the frames on a desk and not hanging. So for my purposes it worked fine with 2 magnets and held the 2 frame front and back side together without any problem

I enjoy the adult coloring books. One of the series that I use has 5X5 pictures. I tried to get a good frame for them at another store and was appalled at the cost. This is an expensive frame. But it's also great! I can put my "colorings" in the frame and easily change them in and out. It is a heavier frame. But this also means that it easily stands up and doesn't fall over. I don't have any problems with the magnets that some people have called weak. Yes there are only 2 magnets. That's all that's needed. The neat thing is that I see keeping this for a really long time. And it will last for a really long time. Sometimes I've found that it's worth paying for quality and that's what one gets with this frame. Quality.

I received a 3D postcard from my Grandma over 30 years ago and wanted to put it on display in my bookcase. This product was received in perfect condition, no scratches, thick block, looked great. I don't know if this was because of the thicker postcard, but when trying to put it between the 2 blocks which hold back together by 2 magnets, 1 in the top left corner, the other in the bottom right corner, but when putting them back together, the postcard would shift easily. So it took a few attempts to get it in there straight but I did get it done. In order for the blocks to hold together more securely, I had to flatten the postcard (inside the block) under a heavy book for a few days. Obviously, regular photo paper would not require this step. This was a 3D postcard so it was much thicker and had curled up over time. I'm very happy with how it turned out. Now I can display the unique postcard and still read what Grandma wrote to me all those years ago.

I thought I hadn’t gotten it, the seller immediately sent me a new 1. Then I discovered it’d been in our package room all along. It’s an excellent frame & great seller. Has little magnets in corners, so no need to try & slide a photo in between. Easy & durable & makes the photo look great

I bought this to replace a similar frame that I had bought at Bed Bath and Beyond. In fact I had 2 of the frames from Bed Bath and Beyond and they only lasted a few months before star- like cracks developed around the magnets. The clarity of this frame is much better as well. The frame from Bed Bath and Beyond develops a hazy appearance to the acrylic after a while. This frame seems to me to be of much better quality and is worth the additional cost compared to the previous frames. So far I am very satisfied with my purchase.

I've bought this in 4x6 and 5x7 sizes almost one year ago and love it. The quality is excellent - perfectly clear material that has shown no signs of losing clarity and is very durable. It comes with 2 magnets that have plenty of strength to do the job. Another reviewer complained that an earlier version of the product had 4 magnets and they speculated that this reduction constituted a compromise in quality. I would say that it must be the case that it never needed 4 in the first place or if it did, it must have been because the earlier version had weaker magnets. Rest assured, 2 magnets suffice. Note only are the magnets strong enough to hold the 2 pictures you'll need to simply use the frame, but there's even enough strength to hold a few more in the middle (unseen) to keep handy for occasionally swapping out the pictures for the sake of variety.I use the 4x6 size with 4x6 prints which isn't ideal because it leaves no space around the print to give it a nice, framed look. I would recommend the 5x7 size for 4x6 prints if you can absorb the price difference.*** Regarding Price ***The only negative about this product is the price. However, I'll point out that the price varied significantly when I bought, so there's hope that it may come down again. I'd like to buy more of these but the current price is simply too high for me.
