The most amazing game I have ever played!
I have bought this game after I have been in a live escape room and I was not sure whether it could provide a similar experience, but actually it did.Let's start from the companion website which is incredible. You can find the invites to send to you friend, some suggestions for setting the mood (including dress code and streaming music), hints and the reassemble instructions. Hints are made in a way that you just get what you want without spoilers. There's a generic one; a more detailed one and, finally, the solution. The game contains some closed envelopes and each one contains some enigmas that you have to solve in order to escape the room. There are some objects or instructions that can facilitate your escape. The story was incredible fine and we enjoyed it. I didn't believe that I could be so involved in the game that I felt part of the game.I have played it with my partner and, despite the box suggest 3-11 players, we loved it. It took about one and half hour to solve it using 3 hints from the website.

Great set to entertain guests.
Bought it for entertaining kids at a play date. 10 y.o. were thrilled and really enjoyed solving the challenges. I helped them only a little bit, guiding to the right clues, the rest they managed on their own and felt very proud at the end.

Excellent!
Very enjoyable. The puzzles were hard enough to be enjoyable, but not so difficult as to be really frustrating. It was a very good 2 hours entertainment in all. It’s worth checking out the website for music and costume ideas. You can also get hints and the game can be put back together to pass onto friends to try out. A couple of the components were poorly put together which was a shame, but didn’t really detract too much, but for that reason it lost a star.

Great fun for a wide range of ages
I played this with a group of 7 teenagers aged 11 to 18 years. It worked for all of them at different times although I would say a smaller group of 4 or 5 would be ideal to give enough different views and skills but ensure everyone can stay involved throughout. It has a fun back story and the puzzles were hard enough to challenge but not so hard you wanted to throw the box across the room! The manufacturer's website also has fantastic extras including hints if you need them, background music and ideas and also the very vital "reassembly" instructions so that you can pass the joy along to someone else. I highly recommend this game.

Loved this!
I’ve played most of the exit games and loved them, I was looking for something similar and this hit the spot. Very fun to play and actually found it easier then the exit games but all the puzzles were still a challenge. I would love to play more of these.

A really fun evening with friends
I wasn’t sure what this would be like when I bought it, but having some friends visit I thought it might make for a fun evening.Somewhat akin to the murder mystery dinner party kits of the 2000s, but for the escape room generation. It was incredibly easy to get going and everything we needed to solve the mystery was in the box. There were puzzles we did very easily and some that was more of a challenge, and the set up of the event does a good job of teaching you the mechanics of how the game works without being condescending.I also really enjoyed that you have a few different potential outcomes that also effectively allow an engaged group to keep going, but a less enthralled group can complete the game but tap out of the final puzzle.I will be doing more of these in the future!

An excellent night in.
This is an Escape the Room game in a box. The product is very well made and packaged with lovely art work and a simple to understand instruction manual. The suggested number of players is 3-8 but I played it with just my wife and this worked just fine. The puzzles in the game are well thought out and connected giving just enough for you to think about without causing frustration. Apparently there are hints available online if required. We managed to complete the game in just under the recommended 90 minutes and found that the time just flew.A great game for puzzle loving people, highly recommended product. I will look to buy the next one in the series very soon.

Okay but not for kosmos fans!
My partner & I love escape room games and have played all the "exit the game" series by kosmos and loved every one, sadly this game was a bit of a come down as we found most of the puzzles unchallenging and bland in comparison. Between the two of us we completed the whole game (including the optional ending) in just under an 1 hour 30mins. However it is still good value for an evenings entertainment with the family.
