Ikea GUNDE Folding Chair in Black/White

Good little chair. I sit on it for a couple of hours a day when I'm practicing music, and I have no complaints about the comfort or stability. You probably wouldn't want to sit on it for 8 hours a day, and it's not a chair for kicking back and relaxing in, but it's a good chair for a study or workshop, or if you need an extra dining chair for guests. It's very lightweight and folds away neatly - very flat and compact, doesn't take up much room. And it has an opening on the back, which means you can hang it on a hook. I had to fiddle with it to figure out how to open and close it; it's not immediately obvious, but once you figure it out, then the opening mechanism is smooth enough. It supports a maximum of 100kg, and it's quite compact, so if you're a larger person you might find it a bit flimsy, but I'm 55kg and it's perfect for me, doesn't wobble at all. Highly recommended.

Light weight but fairly sturdy good value

Folds flat, lightweight, feels sturdy. I'm about 95kg and it takes my weight without a problem. I set it up in the living room when I practice guitar, then stash it behind the door when done. Better than I expected for the price.

This is a great chair - bought to sit all day on a market stall. So light enough to carry daily. Strong and comfortable enough for daily use - great price too

Very light but does the job.

I use this chair as a supporting bedroom chair. I fold it away when not needed therefore saving space for me. And it's quite sturdy for such a light weight piece of furniture. Great.

Very light and easy to store. But it looks not realy strong enough to be seat if someone is heavy and not realy comport when I seat. But otherwise is very good.

While likely cheaper to source directly from the manufacturer in store, the total cost of the item plus postage was cheaper than ordering it from the manufacturer online. Despite the low price, the chair is functional, suitably comfortable especially for the price, and folds well to be stored out of the way.
