These are great and do what they are meant to do
These are great and do what they are meant to do. We have not used them before as the recipient is an adult beginner so we had to go online to see how to cut them to fit, so maybe a web link to see what to do with them first time around if you have not been able to get to a shop to have it explained would be good, however they are nice and strong and if you have two sets you can mix and match the colours if you like to change your look on the ice. Very flexible and strong providing good support when walking around at the rink, we have recommended them to others in the class and would buy again. Thanks

Nice guards but no instructions.
The guards are a great colour and do the job however.... there were no instructions. As I am new to skating I hadn't a clue so had to look on the internet as to how the bits went together.

Good quality soft compound
Great, super happy with them. Bought two pairs (for adult and young one). Adult fit straight from the box (skate size 9) child (skate size 3) had to trim half an inch each piece - very easy, used hack saw - effortless task. Springs have plastic guides internally which was a nice surprise as this drastically improves integrity of a whole assembly. Soft rubber, not slippery, holds well, we wore skates at home for about an hour on a hard floor having no issues with guards whatsoever.

Daughters first ice skates and guards
I purchased these guards when I bought my daughters first pair of ice skates. Have to say a bit fiddly to cut to size, had to use a really sharp bread knife(and oven gloves!!) but they looked so much classier than than the ones you just have to cut the ends off! Would have to say worth the money and effort, but watch your fingers!

I love these it didnt come with instructions but its easy to figure out, it is a lovely shade of pink and were cheap! I love it! They fit my skates perfectly

Fit speed skates
I didn’t know to order these as there isn’t any reviews for speed skates. If you put them on the first notch you can stretch them over speed skates and fit perfectly.

Decent Skate Guards
I agree with one of the other reviews that the item came without instructions, but it was a simple matter of referring back to the photo to see how the springs fitted. I trimmed off about 1cm from the centre section from two of the pieces to get the correct tension with our particular skate blades and they now fit and work like a treat. Well pleased with our purchase.
