I know it seems slightly expensive for mesh, but this thing works miracles and is SO worth the money. I LOVE how safe it keeps my baby. It is easy to see through, completely covers our bassinet (we have a Halo Bassinest Glide), and has no gaps for even tiny bugs to get through. It has flexible supports that hold its shape and don’t allow for sagging, and it was super easy to put on—literally just stretch the elastic over the edges of your bassinet, and you’re done! The zipper is fabulous, because it pulls super easily, and it’s quiet enough to not disturb a sleeping baby. A tip though—don’t pull the zipper all the way down to the side, leave a few teeth together. Otherwise it can be a bit hard to get the zipper started again (especially one handed, i.e. when you’re holding a baby!).Now for the real reason I bought it—we have three very nosy cats, and this keeps them OUT. It is very flexible and wouldn’t hold if a cat decided to jump on top of it, but I don’t think that they would try to, as it’s very obviously not sturdy enough to hold them. None of mine have risked it, and if they did I think they’d bail and never try again. Highly recommend!

Originally bought it to keep my cat from being too curious with the baby but now I use it for everything. It fits perfectly and it’s easy to store for traveling. I love that it comes with two zippers so I don’t have to always figure out what side it’s on. It makes me feel safer knowing that nothing can get in to bother the baby and the baby can breathe. It’s super easy to take on and off since it’s just elastic and I’ve been using it for 9 months and it’s still like I just bought it.

For us keeping out one our more curious cats was the prime reason to get this, turns out our cat isn't as curious as we feared she may be, but the net is giving us a general piece of mind keeping away dust and hairs, as well as reducing any direct breeze from the AC. So we're finding it very useful in general. Despite living in Florida we luckily don't have much of a bug issue, but I'd say this would do a good job of keeping bugs away, though it wholly depends on which bassinet you use, this isn't designed for any one type in particular, so you may find gaps here and there which you might have to get creative about, this isn't a fault of the manufacturer. The product has only one potential downside, and that is it closes with a 2 way zipper, if you practice and keep the position at the right place, you can open and close with one hand, otherwise it's a 2 handed deal. Maybe magnets would be a better solution, but just something keep in mind. At this price point I am happy with this purchase.

Our baby hasn’t arrived yet, but before this bassinet cover, our cat was completely obsessed with our new Baby Delight bassinet, jumping it even with a blanket or sheet on top to deter her. And foil wasn’t an option because our cat actually loves foil.Now? With this cover? Whole new world. It’s been weeks with it on and she wants absolutely nothing to do with the bassinet anymore. We’ll see what happens when baby arrives, but so far this has worked beautifully.I will say that it came with this two rings to snap onto the bassinet, but one of the rings completely tore off when installing — like it was sewn on poorly — but the mesh still sits over the bassinet just fine without issue.

Love this net! I bought it mainly to keep the cats out of the bassinet. It’s a huge plus it also keeps all annoying bugs and insects out. The net is super easy to install and take off, the quality is really good and it seems pretty sturdy. If a car were to jump directly on it tho - I don’t know if that would actually keep the cat from being inside the bassinet.The zippers work really well so even at hectic night time feedings it’s not in the way. The fabric is a nice mesh that lets you still see what baby is up to.Personally, what I bought it for and how it performs: 10/10. It’s exactly what I hoped for and it makes me feel like my baby is safe in it.

Cons: The netting is thin and delicate. The wire started poking out not long after using. Zipper is noisy and may startle baby. Will not stop a determined cat, so train accordingly, as it will collapse easily under the weight. I can’t see through the material as well as I’d like, to check on baby.Pros: the zipper is a double zipper. It fit my bassinet well, with the elastic adjustment. Is a decent deterrent to cats, but not 100% safe at stopping them.I got for cats. Probably works good for bugs, but small bugs will probably still get through the netted sides of your bassinet.

Works perfectly on our standard pack and play and keeps out all bugs and some sun rays.
