It says on your product Safety that it's " Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects." .I don't understand.

No idea about it being harmful. I used it to join two bits of liner that is under an artificial bog.

I have a 6 inch hairline crack in my fibreglass fish pond, will this fix it?

I haven’t used this product for that purpose but it is supposed to bond layers together and seal joints so may be worth a try.

Has anybody used it on a glass aquarium. I need to do an underwater repair with the tropical fish still in the tank.

It will seal underwater and is non toxic. I have used it in a pond. The tube I had was black sealant though.

On the container it states that the glue will work underwater, which implies that you don't have to drain the pond. However, the instructions also tell you to remove all mud, silt and algae. To do this you have to lower the water level until the damage is exposed so that you can clean up around it.
