Gutermann 1094 yd Sew-All Thread, Black

Bought this item on the recommendation from a sewing shop. Previously i had used another type that was cheaper and it kept snapping.... cheap is what cheap is.... This product however was brilliant not one snap and completed the job stronger and better than the previous one. Arrived quickly, would recommend it to anyone and would definitely buy it again.

I have been very pleased with this thread!!!! It likes my sewing Mc's is good threadI had been given a lot of cheap threads .... But ! Disappointedly Ikept finding it jammed my Mc's ...with all sorts of prob' sand I have to say all 3 of my sewing Mc's are not very old.

I'm a hand sewer and a professional hand embroiderer-I had used up all my gutterman thread made in germany and ordered this thinking it would be the same. IT IS NOT! the company was taken over by an american one and this is produced in the USA (I have no axe to grind with the USA BTW) this thread is half the thickness that it was previously (so they use less product) and is twisted in such a ridiculous way that it tangles and knots CONSTANTLY. In my humble 40yrs of sewing opinion, this is now a sub par product and I will NEVER buy this rubbish again, it is utterly horrible to sew with!

I love Gutermann thread. I don't really use anything else except in sewing emergencies. I bought this extra-large spool because you always need black thread. It lasts forever! It's the equivalent of nearly eleven ordinary spools so is very cost effective. I've got one in white too.
