Working very well so far. The original dimmer on the light fitting wasn't suitable as it made the bulb buzz a little & the dimming wasn't very controllable, I expected this would be the case, so I replaced the old module with a new trailing-edge dimmer. Now the buzzing has stopped & dimming is smooth. I'm hoping that the reviews I've seen complaining about the short life of these bulbs is due to using old style leading edge dimmers, which aren't really suitable for led's. Time will tell.

Bought for an old living-room uplighter, provides an even spread of light with the familiar incandescent colour tone. It is noticeably "warmer" white than the 3000K Diall one I tried before this, and much more suited to the location.Update: after about 15 months it has failed - constant flickering. Not an acceptable lifespan for the price.

Much brighter than my previous led, but still not a patch on a halogen lampIt is dimmable which is why I got it however the lamp does make an audible whining noise if it’s dimmed, so not great deal of use for reading, fortunately when it’s dimmed to almost off you can’t hear the noise when watching movies, it’s could just be my uplight that’s the issue though as it must be getting on for 20 years old.

Used it in an uplighter standed lamp easy to fit with off centre pins just have to leave off glass cover that was over the old bulb worried at first over how far off centre the but no problem

I have tried many LED replacement bulbs in a variety of lights in our house, but had found that most were just not as Bright as a halogen filament. The Osram was the first to claim to be as bright as a Halogen so despite the cost I though I'd give it a go. The bulb was fitted in a light in our hallway and I was pleasantly surprised to find the bulb was as bright as claimed. Sadly however the bulb did not last anywhere near the claimed 25000 hour life and failed after just 3 months, being used for around 5 or 6 hours a day. Luckily Osram offer a 4 year warranty and Amazon were quick to arrange a replacement, I just hope it's delivered during the day or I'll never find my keys in the hallway.

The flicker is very intermittent but it's annoying all the same. Could well be incompatibility with our lamp dimmer but seeing as it was going fine until now I don't believe that to be the issue.It's manageable but if it gets any worse it'll be back to the Halogen

Good technology. Promises a long life and only uses a fraction of the electricity of a normal incandescent bulb.

I don't know whether this was just incompatible with my Homebase floodlight, but it just didn't work at all when I installed it, so I returned it.

Allego foto che danno un'idea più precisa.- consumo di 15 W con un risparmio di energia elettrica dell'85% rispetto ad un'alogena di pari luce (che conservativamente potrebbe essere da 110 W reali, 125 W equivalenti). Usandola 2 ore/giorno si risparmiano 15 euro/anno sulle spese di corrente elettrica.

The media could not be loaded.  Perfecta alumbra prácticamente igual que una bombilla alogena de 200W y regula estupendamente no hace ningún ruido ni parpadeo es justo lo que buscaba. Solo espero que por el precio que tiene dure muchos años.Lamento decir que después de 6 meses de uso la bombilla ha dejado de funcionar, una pena porque funcionaba estupendamente no entiendo que ha pasado, no obstante volveré a comprarla otra vez ya que no encuentro otra alternativa mejor, por este precio las he visto de la marca Philips pero son más caras y con los mismos 15W, espero que esto que me ha pasado haya sido una cosa puntual ya que tengo otra lámpara con esta misma bombilla puesta y comprada como un mes antes y sigue funcionando y eso que esa lámpara la uso más. Bueno si se vuelve a estropear ya comentaréLamentablemente se ha vuelto a fundir la primera de las bombillas que puese después de 1 año de uso. Significa que en un año me he gastado 40 euros aproximadamente en 2 bombillas, no se lo que me habrán ahorrado de luz pero vamos 40 euros ni de cachondeo diría que ni 20euros me ha salido bastante cara la jugada volveré a usar las de siempre que por un par de euros compras 2 y aunque gasten más salen más rentables y además alumbran mejor.Según me han dicho se funden las bombillas porque a parte de cambiar la bombilla de la lámpara habría que cambiar el dimmer de regulación del interruptor y ponerle también para bombillas de bajo consumo, no es el mismo dimmer para una bombilla normal que para una de bajo consumo. Por eso funciona un tiempo hasta que quemamos el sistema de regulación de la bombilla.Esto debería venir puesto en la descripción de la bombilla, que no se puede cambiar una lámpara de regulación normal con una bombilla de bajo consumo sin antes cambiar el dimmer. Pero claro si se supiera no se vendería ninguna bombilla de regulación de bajo consumo a particulares, que no tenemos ni idea de electricidad. A mi me ha costado casi 40 pavos aprender la lección.Por cierto la bombilla cuando deja de funcionar en una lámpara de regulación, sigue funcionando en una lámpara sin regulador.

Deze LED lamp gekocht ter vervanging van een halogeen R7s lamp.Is veel zuiniger. uiteraard niet net zoveel licht als ee 500W halogeen op de max. stand.Ik moest wel de dimmer vervangen door een LED-dimmer, want bij de orginele (halogeen) dimmer ging de lamp soms knipperen.

La luz es cálida como una bombilla incandescente, la intensidad de la luz es como esta anunciada. Pero hace ruido, vibra y es molesto. La intensidad del ruido es superior cuando no está a plena potencia. Es insoportable. No entiendo como osram vende una bombilla con dicho defecto.
