I thought I'd note in case anyone else, like me, was trying to install this for front and rear parking cameras. You can give the screen a constant power feed when the ignition is on. The screen doesn't seem to show at all through the mirror, until you give it a video source. (I haven't checked this at night tough TBH, it may be slightly lit up, which would be annoying) The two inputs work well - if you give AV1 a feed (For example switch on a front camera's power) then the screen comes to life. As soon as AV2 gets a feed (For example, you put the car into reverse and power goes to the rear camera) then it overrides the AV1 and jumps straight to reverse view, popping right back to av1 (ie your front camera) once you come out of reverse. This was important to me, for minimal wiring, and how I hoped it would work.PROs• It switches as soon as it sees an AV signal arrive, no other power signals etc to tell it to switch.CONs• As a mirror it's slightly tinted compared to the standard mirror in my car.• It's also too skinny to actually mount properly (doesn't stretch wide enough) so just about squeezes on, but may need to be bodged further with some sort of strapping. Other types have an elastic strap system, which would probably have worked better, but I don't know if the two inputs would work the same.• Also, three control buttons are actually mounted on the rear, which is a bit of a silly place to put them. Haven't actually even tried them to see what they do!

Bought to add a reversing camera to our rx8 as visibility from the rear window is poor, super easy to fit over the existing mirror and looks the part once on, after wiring the screen and camera to the reversing light it works perfectly and makes parking really easy, also as it is larger than the original rear view mirror it actually improves visibility when day to day driving so win win

The picture on the screen is very poor and as soon as the sun comes out you can’t see anything. Also the mirror is heavily tinted so again offers a very poor view. The three buttons to adjust the mirror are all at the back sandwiched between the new mirror and the one in the car, so you need to remove it to adjust it. All in all not a good buy.

Very good fair play

This was the second one purchased to fit in my son's focus like in mine. Easy to install with basic electrical skills and use crimps not scotch locks for better connection and no loss of signal.

works well enousgh but not clear to see in sun or bright light

I thought the mirror was going to be slightly distorted as it's also a monitor, but it isn't, I forget sometimes it's a clip on monitor.
