I too was sceptical when I read the other reviews. I've had very oily skin for years and have spent a lot of money on various products that just don't work. This one however does. It took maybe 2 weeks for it to start working. I'm not completely shine free don't get me wrong but it is massively improved using this. Yes I do still have oily skin but it's bearable and it's certainly a lot better than it would be if I didn't use it. It's pricey but I'm happy to pay it as it does work. I've just ordered my second bottle so it lasts about 5-6 weeks if you use it twice a day. Give it a go but don't expect miracles after the first wash!

I bought this product a couple of months ago now because unfortunately I have really oily skin. I've tried various products in the past which stops the oil seeping through for a couple of hours or so,but half way through the day at work I look as if I've run a marathon. I came across this product and read the reviews and thought I'd give it a go as a last resort. Well for me it's fantastic! It keeps me shine free for most of my work day! Towards the end of the day I can see shine coming through a little bit but no where near as much as before! I love how clean my face feels after using this and it's great how long it lasts! You only need a pea sized amount and it does your whole face and neck. One thing I've noticed it does dry my skin out a bit but alternating this product with a good exfoliater works really well. Don't be put off by the price, it costs more then I would usually spend on beauty products but it's definitely worth it! I'll be buying again :)

I had high hopes for this based on ingredients but it's definitely not for me. My face is now worse than ever. I have broken out in the worst way possible. I now have a sore almost painful rash like condition all over my face, chin and part of my neck.The product itself is not offensive in smell. It's almost colourless (greyish/cream hue). I found it quite runny. Doesn't lather, but cleans the face of most product you may have used prior. For me, it was drying and made my skin feel stripped.My skin is prone to breakouts but not acne. My skin is sensitive and combination. I had a few problems with my cheek area before I purchased this. As mentioned it's now worse than ever.Everyone's skin is different and this product never worked for me but it may for someone else. Reviews are never a cast-iron guarantee that a product like this will work, but I will be returning this one.

I usully buy the obagi cleanser with 2% salicylic acid. I feel that is alot more effective and leaves the skin alot more cleansed. This is decent but doesnt have the same clean feeling on the face after cleansing. Maybe the quality of product used in this isnt as superior to obagis hence the price difference.

What can I say? The only time I had a bit of a flair up was when I used something else on holiday so it does seem to be doing a good job. I didn't give 5 stars because it contains microbeads which are bad for the environment and probably unnecessary. For this reason I probably won't buy again, despite it being good.

I don't normally write reviews, but I've been using this cleanser for a couple of weeks now and I just can't praise it enough! I don't suffer with acne as such, but continual outbreaks, large pores and oily skin, but between this and Hollywood Skin night cream (about to leave a review for that too), I am seeing consistently great results which continue to improve. My skin is a lot clearer (totally clear in fact, but almost too scared to say in case I tempt fate!), even toned and soft and it hasn't left in a flaky dry mess, as so many other products seem to do. As far as I'm concerned, these products knock the high end ones out of the market. Just great!

I've tried many oil control face washes and after reading the reviews for this one I was feeling positive and I thought I would give it a try. I can say after using this for 2 months unfortunately it hasn't made a significant improvement. Yes it washes my excess oil off but for me this returns after around an hour. This may work for others but if hasn't made a great difference for me.

This product works very well at cleansing and removing excess oil on the skin but in terms of maintaining an oilly free face, I’ve seen no improvements after 4 weeks of using it. If you want clear skin, this is great but if you’re buying it for the oil free aspect it’s advertised as, I wouldn’t reccomend this product.
