Mix the content of the packet with 2-3 spoons of sugar. Take 6 spoons of the cold milk and stir into your dry ingredients to form a smooth paste. Heat the remainder of the milk into the saucepan until just boiling (make sure that the milk is not burnt). Remove from the heat and whisk in the smooth mixture using a hand whisk. Put the pan back onto the heat and allow to gently boil for 1 minute (stirring all the time with the whisk).
