Blocks all light, doesn't come off, relatively easy to install by yourself
Once installed it works perfectly, it doesn't let any light in. This is my second time buying it, I first tried it on just one window panel a few months ago to see if I liked it and it's still completely adhered to the window, so I decided to buy some more for other windows.I installed it by myself and it was really fiddly, but it's doable. I started from the bottom, peeled just about 30cm of the clear film off and once I had that much adhered to the window and made sure it was on the right spot, I peeled the rest of the clear film off and I used the inner cardboard tube it comes in to push my way up to the top. Then it's just a matter of smoothing it out with a squeegee to get air bubbles out.Overall, highly recommend if you want to block all light.

Wonderful privacy at a budget price.
It took a while for me to realise I was only finding these hard to fit because I was using a blunt Stanley knife, but that's because I'm a complete beginner when it comes to DIY, so when swapping the blade out it cut like butter.Once I started to get the hang of it it was simple to install, I would suggest measuring out the windows and allowing an extra half cm on each side to make it as easy as possible, as when I gave it too much to compensate it made it hard to position it accurately.I managed to install this on 24 panes of glass in around 2 hours and the results have been great. I used some cheap supermaket own brand washing up liquid and water in an old cleaning product bottle with a squeeze handle, then used a retail store loyalty card (think it was my Nando's card) to push all of the air bubbles out to make the film flush, easy peasy. To finish, as we have really old single glazed windows, we used a clear silicone to hold everything together around the parameter of each window, this is really optional but it looks nice for us though and helped when a few of the pieces of film were riding up around the edges (these were only riding up as I didn't properly clean some of the windows thoroughly enough, so that is massively important!).Since installing this, the mirrored effect from the outside looks fantastic and it's also made the room slightly warmer as the extra layer of filming is having a kind-of double glazing effect (not quite the same of course but definitely noticeable). All in all I would certainly purchase again as it's great value for money and does the job as described very well.

Follow the instructions!
This arrived with no instructions, and as I wasn't putting it directly onto my windows (I needed to use it at the back of a shelving unit in my shop) I didn't bother looking for any... this was a big mistake. After taking about 20 minutes attaching it carefully across the back of 2 ikea kallax units (both 2 x 8) having it roll back on me constantly, I finally got it attached, smooth, even and looking good. I sat back knowing that the sun would not be able to get through to the inside of my shop quite-so-much (the main window faces south-west so gets full sun all of the hottest part of the day). I left that evening happy to know when I arrived the following morning most of the sun would have been reflected and it might be a little cooler than the 33'c it had been before I attached the film - not only is my window in full sun, the shop has a flat roof, and 2 take-aways either side so when there's warms up, so does mine; the heat is then trapped until the next day.Imagine my horror when I arrived the following morning at 6am to see the thermometer was already at 31'c. That's right, you've guess it; this idiot had failed to peel the backing off, and attach the film the correct way around. Instead of reflecting the sun/heat back, it stopped any of the heat that built up from escaping! Lesson learned, and once I'd unstuck it, peeled the backing off, fought with it rolling back on me again, I have to say it is working really well. It's helping to keep my little oven of a shop around the 24/25'c mark and I can't complain about that.

Easy DIY
Easy to cut and to put on the windows, we’re really good for summer when it was hot kept a little of the heat out. Reflective during the day. At night if you have a light on people can see in but during the day time cannot see in at all unless you are right next to the windows

Does not stick!
I have fitted numerous kinds of window film. This film was fitted and looked ok but when I came into the room a couple of days later it had dropped off all three window panes.Waste of money

Good in theory…
The frosted effect is really nice. It retains light in the light but offers excellent privacy. However, despite being easy to fit, it doesn’t look great and despite following instructions the edges just don’t seem to adhere! It might be my skill- or lack of- though. I’d suggest purchasing a decent Stanley blade/knife and a proper squeegee.

It does work!
Hi, it just works wonderfully! See the photo? My door-window is massive and in summer, it's very difficult to sleep when sun rises at 4am. Even by night, artificial light prevents my room from being pitch black. Thanks to this film, I can now block the light and I sleep so much better. It sticks very easily and blocks the light entirely but you need to make sure to cover the entire surface: a few centimetres left brings so much light to your room.I bought 2 films: 1 I leave permanently on the left side (I put it 1 month ago and it never fell), 1 I put on the right side before going to sleep. Even if the film is taller than your window, it sticks easily. However, if it's much taller than your window, the weight will make it fall (you can still cut it). You don't need to do it perfect to make it hold: just a bit of water with a damp sponge and flatten the film out, that's it. The only annoying thing is to put it every night before going to bed but I have a solution: keep a water spray bottle near your window so when you need to put the film, you have everything by hand and you don't need to leave your room.A piece of advice: don't wait to feel sleepy to put the film, put it 30mn-1h before bedtime. After, you'll feel too lazy to do it, even if it just takes a minute ;)

Prodotto e venditore ok. È quello che cercavo.
