First item came broken - left earpiece had static noise. Replacement arrived after a few days, and after a month's use the loudness decreases when I assume a sitting position - presumably the cable is broken. It is really annoying as the cable does not seem strong enough where it meets the male jack plug. Unfortunately my return window "is closed". Not a great experience for this much money!

9 months only?!
If I had of written this review upon buying these I would have given it 4 stars because... these headphones I was pretty impressed with. Good look and design, good sound quality. Only big bear I had was the fact you couldn't control volume from the button on the side of the headphones. However I purchased these in August 2016 and now in April 2017 one earpiece no longer works!! £50 headphones not even lasting 1 year?!? Pretty poor in my opinion.

Great in sound and build quality
Great in sound and build quality. However, I only got 1 month out of them. I Used them 8 hours per day so if you're a frequent user this might be a concern

Classy looks and muddy sound
Used to have a pair of Nocs, which I was very happy about - until my dog ate them. Now climbing up a notch as far as prize goes, I might have expected more of an improvement.First impression:Package ok, but not much luxury here. The actual earphones is fastened tightly in a foam like substanse... and almost difficult to loosen. I had to pull the cable pretty hard get them free. The package includes 3 different size traditional tips and a thinner, longer pair and a not to sturdy carrying bag, but more of that later.Build quality and design:The actual earphones looks really classy and sturdy. The colour will work especially well with gold or rose gold smartphones with the cobber surface and the brown, slightly transparent cable. The earphones are on the heavy side - not the least compared to my earlier Nocs. The cable seems almost to thin and therefore oddly unbalanced compared to the weight of the earphones. The Nocs has a flat tanglefree cable, that seems to suit the very compact design of both the Fidue A65 and the Nocs better and contribute to the feel of the build quality. The cable here is rubbery and as stated slightly thin compared to the heavy earhones. The cable is quite rigid with a fairly long 3,5mm jack so packing the Fidues in the carrying bag takes an almost violent struggle that aren't realy fit to a pair of 50£ earphones. Putting the carrying bag in your pocket for traveling seems the good choice - and more so since it's to soft for my comfort if carried in your everyday bag with pc, papers, briefcases and whatever you bring to and from workplace - while not using your earphones :-)Sound:First I have to say that I don't consider myself very bass-sensitive. But the first sound impression was not very comforting. The bass is HEAVY listening to Peter Gabriel "Secret World Live". The bass lives it's own life almost detached of the otherwise balanced highs and mids. I had to use bass reducer on the Iphone to get a decent experience.Next song is Stromaes "Papaoutai": The Bass reducer is gone and the sound is suddenly perfectly balanced and bass kicks in just as you would expect it to when listening til electronical dance. With equalizer off the highs gets a little muddy but not too bad. Mids are well balanced with the still strong but more comfortable bass.Next: GRP All-Star Big Band "Sister Sadie" eq off: Well balanced but slightly hollow or maybe "resounding". Highs and mids are tightly fit, while mids and lows are more detached.Time to push the Fidues a bit so next is Them Crooked Vultures with "Elephants". Again bass is heavy, detached and muddy. And again the balance improves a lot but also flattens a bit with eq on bass reducer. Finally it's Rammstein "Mein Teil". I'm getting more and more confused here... Eq have to go back to off-position. With bass reducer the sound is flat and have no kick at all.Overall:Really good looking, well built earphones with both design and sound flaws that I will have to get used to - or which might end up in me deciding to scrapp them.Note: I might get back in a couple of weeks time - since this is the impression of sound quality based on less than 10 hours playing time. My experience is that sound in this kind of earphones will alter and improve a lot over time. And when the recently ordered Fiio A3 portable amplifier is added I hope for a very different experience. Until then it's 4 small stars.

Fantastic quality
Amazing quality for the price point, build & sound quality is far superior to the soundmagic E10 which is in a similar price bracket. Amazon headphones for the price

Would not recommend. Reasonable price but poor build quality and sound
Would not recommend. Reasonable price but poor build quality and sound. I suppose you get what you pay for but there are better earphones for similar prices. I deviated from soundmagic earphones to try something new but was immediately disappointed with the sound and the way the sit in your ear. To top it off, after 2 months one of the sides stopped working. I have purchased another pair of soundmagics and annoyed I wasted money on these.
