Schwarzkopf Live XXL Colour Intense Permanent Coloration 00A Absolute Platinum

I'm naturally strawberry blonde - a sort of more faded ginger colour with bits of gold and wanted to go more intense red so about a year and a half ago I discovered Mango Twist and I absolutely love it. It turns out very natural on anyone who's got any ginger tones in their hair already. The first photo was taken after a fresh dye but after a few days it calms down a bit more as you can see from the second one. It does fade to a lighter ginger tone around 3 to 4 weeks in. I top up my roots every 5th week or so. Be careful when you're washing it out because the hair can be a little sensitive to snapping and I do find a fair bit in the shower drain when I first wash it out but it's all about being gentle with it. The root touch up is really easy and the hair always turns out the same colour with no patchiness. I use Elvive generally and am currently using the purple bottle shampoo and conditioner atm and my hair seems to be like silk at the moment even though I dye it with this colour every few weeks. I hope they keep this colour going because it's just perfect for me!

I have now used this colour in both bleached and unbleached hair and I think it’s beautiful every time. This is my go to and if I can’t get it I wait to dye my hair. It’s easy to use, gorgeous colour and lasts surprisingly long in my hair.

I agree with previous review from Becky. I used the Beach Blonde on my light Blonde hair as I wanted the blonde toned down a bit. My Husband noticed the lather was pink so I only let the colour develop for 10 minutes. I was mortified at first to have darker (which I wanted) dusky pink hair but after a wash I was left with gentle soft pink hues. I really like it and have received compliments on the colour and shine.Will probably use again but be aware hair will be a soft pink strawberry blonde.I would fo a strand test first.

Great colour

I was looking for a darkish purple without being flat in colour and this seemed to tick all the boxes, and I was not disappointed. Loved being purple for a while and this dye was exactly what I was looking for! Great colour and didn’t cause damage to my hair

Well what can I say? Think this is the first time a home box dye has actually gone the colour its supposed to! My base colour was a dirty blonde, no bleach needed.The colour is a mixture of magenta pink and purple and I am so in love with it!I only have one issue, despite using gloves and washing my hair twice, I still find my hands go pink when touching or brushing my hair and after the first wash when my hair was slightly damp my neck and t-shirt had pink marks on it. But this may be my fault as I don't blow dry and just let my hair dry naturally!
