Synergi Contact Lens Solution (3 month pack) 3x250 ml

I'm of the opinion that contact lense solutions are among the most over-priced personal care products out there. Given that the formula basically hasn't changed in the last 15yrs (when it went from separate cleaning and storing to all-in-one formula) and it is, at the molecular level, extremely simple to produce my guestimate is that manufacturers make north of 95% gross margins on this type of product.Pardon my rant on the "contact lense solution cartel" but the reason why I went looking for a cheaper solution was exactly because of the frustruation generated by the analysis above. Anyway I find that the Synergi solution is 100% comparable to the premium brands I've used in the past (renu, Bausch&Lomb, Opti-Free) but priced even below white label products from the likes of Boots, Tesco etc.Now it should be said that I don't have particularly sensisitive eyes and never had any type of reaction changing from one brand to another (some people do). I wear my bi-weekly soft lenses for 18hrs+ a day without any problem. But even my girlfriend who is a lot more sensitive and usually can only wear contacts for limited periods was generally impressed with the product.I also liked the fact that it came in a relatively small bottle which has a nice design to it. I prefer using a new bottle every 4-5 weeks rather than having a bottle open for 2 months+. The best before date was beyond 1 year so no problems with that.All in all very good product at a competitive price.

I bought this when the Tesco and Sainsbury's own-brand solution was unavailable for a few months. I'm convinced they both use the same solution in different bottles.I chose this product as it came closest to my usual brands in terms of pricing.But it's simply nowhere near as good for me. My lenses often didn't feel clean in the morning and certainly did not last the two weeks they're meant to last between changes; until my usual supply was restored I had to change my lenses more frequently: sometimes in as little as a week, and certainly no more than ten days. At the end of each working day my eyes felt noticeably dry and tired and I was switching back to the glasses I hate wearing. With my regular solution I can wear my lenses comfortably from 7am until I go to bed at around midnight or 1am, but usually choose to give my eyes a "glasses day" for one of my weekly rest days (I work six days on, two days off).The supplied lens case was also a bit of a swine: for some reason my lenses occasionally got stuck inside the lids of each pot. That has NEVER happened to me before in thirty years of contact lens usage. The first time it fooled me into thinking I'd accidentally flushed a lens down the sink drain causing me to unnecessarily open a new lens, and the second time it caused a lens to get torn as I fished it out. The rest of the times it happened it simply wasted additional solution flushing the lenses from the lids.In summary, it's OK in an emergency for me, but my two remaining bottles of the three-pack are not going to get used unless my regular supply becomes unavailable again. I've given this two stars but the lens case problem made me seriously consider giving just one star.

My daughter uses contact lenses and gets the solution a part of her 3 monthly delivery however, she's found it easier to manage if she buys it herself. She needs a sensitive preservative free solution and was this recommended by the optician and has been using it for 6 months. No problems, great solution at a brilliant Amazon prime price. Locally this cost £11 per bottle, only paid £13.65 for 3 BOTTLES! By removing the lens solution from her delivery it has dropped the price of the direct debit and the 3 bottles last ages. Very happy.

Thank you to Amazon again for being so prompt with delivery. Following an appointment with my optician I was recommended this solution because my eyes had become so sore due to another solution that had a specific preservative. This solution is brilliant and I can now wear my contacts happily without having to worry. The packaging is slightly different from the optician sample provided but for anyone who is experiencing soreness this may be the solution to use if agreed by an optician

seems to be exactly the same as the stuff I get from the local opticians for a lot more.Only one of the cage in bottle type case included but have lots of cases anyway which can be sterilised by boiling so not a problem and would rather not add to landfill...and you can buy them for less than £1 each ....I could get a lot of cases for the amount saved!

I used for 4 years Synergi by Sauflon and it was the best lens solution and I could use the lenses for 4-5 weeks. Unfortunately the new Synergi by Coopervision it's so bad that I need to change my lens at 2-3 weeks.

Great and reliable product. I was previously using Specsavers own brand (Easyvision All Purpose - green box). I switched to Synergi as it was much better value. No problems at all.

Usually purchase from opticians but double the price so thought I'd give this a try. Packaged same, expiry date 2019. Includes cases. Really pleased.
