Q: Would getting a tough toothbrush be just as good?

I tried a toothbrush before getting these. Although toothbrushes are good they simply don't last. These are much better and seem like they'll last muxh longer.

Q: are they any good for cleaning fridge/freezer seals

Yes they are brilliant especially the small silicon tip. I used them with jml doktor power, its a tub of white paste that cleans almost everything.

Q: Are they good for cleaning the cooker rings around the side of plates

Good morning,This cleaning set is suitable for steel or ceramic surfaces , so you can use it in the kitchen ( stove, sink , etc .. ) .The plastic fiber bristles are small and allow a thorough cleaning even in small coves .Best regardes

Q: Can I clean the inside of a toaster with these brushes

I cannot imagine the need to cleaner a toaster with brushes like these. However, so long as the toaster is unplugged from the electricity and the toaster slot is wide enough to insert a brush then why not. I would advise extreme care.
