Good light to have if you need brightness. Ideal if power cuts or if camping out.

Wow what A good lamp, refills cost £3.97 and have a reasonable lifespan and so far I am still using the original mantle. Best of all it gives off really good warm light that is easily adjusted. Takes me back to camping holidays in the South of France back in the sixties. Gas lamps have something special and this is a good one

I would have given 5* but did have a little difficulty in screwing base back on once set up with gas. Must be screwed right to top to puncture gas. That being said gives excellent light once all set up and mantle is easy to fit. Can't comment on burn time for gas as this is going into my emergency box in case of future power cuts.

The product is exactly as ordered and works well. The delivery was dreadful - looking at the tracking information it says it was handed to a resident - very strange as we drove out of the no through lane as the delivery van turned in. Also would any of us leave the package sitting outside in pouring rain on the path leading to the front door. If it had been left on the box by the front door (under the porch) as all other amazon drivers do - it would have been dry and the packaging not soggy and falling apart when we got home.

I keep a small emergency kit for unknown and unexpected eventualities. This item is now part of that kit. It's cheap and it works well.

A great little canister to fit the lanterns. Easy to change and the non leaking top a good design as stops wastage if lantern has to be temporarily disconnected and safe

A good all round lantern very good value for money
