I bought this because my car does not have built-in satnav. I stuck the mount to my dashboard. There are instructions that tell you how to get good adhesion. Also included is a metal plate that I have stuck to the back of my phone case.The adhesion on both the mount and the plate seems to be very good, and I am confident that the hold is strong. The magnet is also powerful and my medium-sized smartphone attaches to the mount so firmly that I am not at all worried that it will fall off while driving. The whole system is so convenient: I just enter my destination on the phone, plonk it on the mount and off I go! The mount swivels and locks into place using a locking nut so that I can get the best viewing angle.The product feels like it's of good quality and I don't have that nagging worry about flimsy construction or cheapness that i have with many online purchases. I really think this is a great product and I have no regrets about the purchase whatsoever.

This is a quality bit of kit for mounting a phone or other device in your car. I looked at a number of mounting solutions and I'm glad I picked this one.Supplied in the kit is the mount, in this case on a gimble with an adhesive pad, and two metal plates. The plates have adhesive on the the back and stick to your phone or device, enabling the super-powerful magnet in the mount to hold it.I use an iPhone 6 in an Apple case. I opted not to stick the plate to the phone or case and simply put the plate between the two (i.e. put it inside the case and put the case on the phone). This works perfectly. The attachment to the mount is rock solid with absolutely no wobbling, rattling, wiggling, etc.It's so simple to put the phone in view of the driver (me), you just offer it up to the mount and it stays there, landscape or portrait. No clipping it on, no adjusting and no moving it slightly to the left because it's bobbing up and down - nope, none of that. It just works. Best of all, there's absolutely no sign that you've put anything on your phone, so long as you used a case before anyway!

I needed a mount to fit my dashcam (Mobius camera) discreetly. This fit the bill perfectly.For those that haven't read around, the kit comes with 2 slim magnetic pads to place in the case of, or on various devices, but may interfere with internal compass readings and magnetic storage devices (old gen ipods). Flash memory is unaffected.The smaller magnetic pad was perfect size to pop inside the case of my Mobius camera, and it is held very firmly in place by the pad surface of this holder. The beauty of it means its easy to remove, and easy to adjust the angle of the camera.I also think this would be the most convenient dash holder for your phone. The only downside would be the affects of the magnet on the compass feature, but if slipped between your phone and phone case, it can easily be removed.As a note, the 3M sticky pad provided is a light grey colour. I applied it to my windscreen and there was no way it was coming off. Which was unfortunate, since it was not particularly discreet, I wanted to attach it with a black pad, and it was not easy to remove, so give some thought as to where you will place this mount.

You must ensure the device is supported on the dashboard below the magnetic plate. This worked really well for my first smart phones, bought in the 2010s, because those devices were relatively small. This copes less well with today's devices due to their increased size and weight. Still, if you can ensure the large metal plate is close to the magnet when mounted, this works well enough.

After spending money on rubbish mounts, this is very neat, and sturdy, doesn’t budge. Very strong magnetic holds phone with ease.The little moveable mount allows for you to move it about so it sits where you want it to face. Can’t move a windscreen very easily, but this mount you can!!Tip:There is a little clear film the you can stick to your phone or phone case and the magnetic goes on top of that, (to help with removal from your phone / case).The otter box I have is slightly textured / dimpled surface, so the little clear film doesn’t stick to the otter box, and is really for flat sheer surface. My friend has a sheer otter box and the clear protective film sticks no bother.Just stick the magnet directly to the otter box. But sure you choose the location correct as it will be a pain to take off and will remove bit of the adhesive.So clear film, magnet on top, stick the other magnetic holder to the dash or wherever and bingo, that phone is going no where.

The holder is great, but just a note to anyone looking to buy this WILL NOT adhere to some dash surfaces. It doesn't matter what you use to attempt to stick it on (I would guess some sort of epoxy would work but I don't want to put that all over my dashboard) some surfaces just don't work. My car (Skoda Rapid) has a textured curved plastic dashboard and despite using multiple different glues, adhesive tapes etc it just would not stick. Despite this I can't really blame the holder, or the adhesive supplied, I tried many others and it seems to be just the way my dashboard works. Try using the suction cup version instead. Other than that the actual holder is great! Holds my phone firmly without any effort. I would also suggest sticking the metal plate onto a removable cover, it may be me but I just don't like the idea of gluing something to my £500 phone!

I replaced the very poor double sided tape with tape I bought to attach my number plate, stuck to the dashboard like a dream. Now that the magnet is attached to the dash securely, it works very well and is solid. Highly recommend that scosche use a different double sided tape in future....please

Ho provato tutti i tipi possibili di supporti smartphone per auto e questo è di gran lunga il migliore in assoluto.Innanzitutto permette di alloggiare e rimuovere il telefono con una sola mano e senza sforzi.La dotazione poi è impeccabile: due placche di dimensioni diverse (a seconda di dove le si vuole attaccare: al telefono nudo, all'esterno della custodia, tra il telefono e la custodia... poi il panetto per pulire la superficie di attacco, un'adesivo apposito per non rovinare il telefono e facilitare la rimozione della placca infuturo, istruzioni chiarissime... esistono anche placche in altri colori della stessa marca (io ad esempio le ho prese dorate perché ho un iPhone 6 Plus dorato.Il telefono è stabile (a parte una leggero ondeggiamento avanti e indietro in fase di accelerazione o frenata, ma quello è dovuto al fatto che la mia cover non è rigida e un po' cede...), soprattutto una volta stretta bene la vite di regolazione del supporto. L'adesivo che attacca il supporto al cruscotto è molto forte.Unico accorgimento (anche se non mi è ancora capitato che il telefono si staccasse da solo): se - magari per motivi estetici - volete usare la placca piccola anche con telefoni di dimensioni "generose", regge benissimo, ma fate attenzione a "centrare" bene il magnete (la placca piccola e il magnete del supporto hanno praticamente le stesse dimensioni)... se non combaciano su tutta la superficie la tenuta sarà ridotta in proporzione.

Buen soporte, el embalaje muy cuidado y con aspecto de calidad. La entrega cómo siempre Amazon Premium en 24h. Es muy discreto y pequeño pero lo suficientemente grande para apoyar en el un Galaxy S5 sin que al manipularlo se despegue del imán, que además de ser bastante potente, leva un recubrimiento de material parecido a la silicona que impide que se resbale. En definitiva es un soporte discreto eficaz y agradable a la vista y que cumple su función perfectamente. Lo recomiendo sin excepciones.
