Spear & Jackson 2155NS Select Carbon Flexo Lawn Rake

This is a great solid rake, just right for what I needed to so which is scrape over my grass to overseed. I have several completely bare patches now that I've managed to kill all the moss and dandelions, my poor garden has some serious baldness issues going on. What is left os healthy and fine, but there are some very bad areas with either nothing at all or dead grass from the incinerator. This is not too heavy or tall for me as a lady gardener. It is solid but not overly weighty and I managed to do my patches fine without any breaks. The grip is excellent and prevents too much effort being used, you can also be pretty accurate with this and just get the areas you need while leaving the rest alone. I scraped over the impacted soil, it worked great. Then I tried using it to grab some of the dead grass, this also worked fine and loads came up. The prongs are just right if you're using this for dead grass, leaves etc. You can end up with a forkful and then toss it where you want. The prongs are just the right space for this and it doesn't pick up any gravel. Previously I had a plastic rake but obviously that would be no good for getting some scratches in to the soil for seeding. This is a great replacement that should last a good few years. Also like the plastic cover for the prongs so you don't take an eye out when grabbing it out of the shed. I only have a fairly short shed and it fit fine standing up - bonus! Would definitely buy from this brand again, super well made and not too heavy. Great for more heavy duty jobs.

Lieferung erfolgte sehr schnell. Verpackung sehr umfangreich, da gibt es sicher Einsparpotential. Der Rechen ist aus meiner Sicht sehr gut verarbeitet und durch die stärkeren Zinken aus Karbonstahl entfilzt er den Rasen. Karbonstahl und der Stiel aus Metall machen das Gerät sicher langlebig, allerdings auch etwas schwerer. Bin zufrieden.
