Excellent addition to the kitchen for draining pasta and vegetables. Easy to clean. Easy to store as it flattens to fit in any space.

Brought one of these with the handled version in Nov 2015 and they're only just now starting to split! Used weekly at least so great value and came straight back for a replacement. Some reviews suggesting they're not as durable as they were so hope we're not disappointed but willing to take a chance.

The colander looks and feels nice with a sturdy build quality. The holes are a little on the small side and are only on the bottom, which means water won't drain particularly fast and you need to give it a shake at the end for all of the water to come out. This is a worthy trade off for the collapsible properties of this product. The flat colander is very thin and useful for storage in small space.It opens up into a shallow colander with one push and a deeper one if you push it again. On the shallow setting, water will pool around the inner edge of the uncollapsed part so be careful with boiling water. On the deep setting there is enough space to rinse a whole chopped lettuce.The easiest way to collapse the product is to grip each side with both hands and push down onto a surface. The easiest way to expand the product, especially if you have arthritis would be to hold the product upside down in two hands and push the base against your bent knee.Overall, it's a very sturdy, well-built product that looks good. It expands to a generous size and saves a lot of space in your cupboard when collapsed. Just expect to have to shake some water out.

..ah yes, it's a collander, so I expected plenty of holes! This item is wanted for camping, but call it a kitchen item and its 20% cheaper than calling it a camping item. It's useful/functional and being collapsible it takes up much less space, whether in the kitch, or in the camping pack. It's a good size to drain pasta/rice etc. My only thought is how clean can the (in this case) green gaitor (that collapses) will remain, or how difficult will it be to clean? All that aside, a practical, useful item. It's a shame that the bowl version is so small.

This collapsible strainer is ideal for a small kitchen. The strainer collapses down to about 6-7cm heigh, which makes it easy to fit into any cupboard. I have found it easy to wash and easy to use. The only downside is that there is no extended handle, this means that if you are straining a large amount of food and don't want to burn yourself, you have to put the strainer down in the sink or on top of another pan because if you use the handles that are built into the strainer you can easily end up burning yourself.

The colander does not seem to have enough drain holes to allow the water to fully drain away properly so appears to be a design fault.Positive note very sturdy and well made and very deep to hold a large pan of draining vegetables etc. What a shame they could not have created a few more drainage holes to make this product perfect!

Just what I wanted to keep the flies at bay while my chicken is on the defrost board as I have to leave it out on my worktop. Ever carefull when handling raw chicken, I have used a wire mesh food cover in the past but because it then went straight in the dishwasher it had started to go slightly rusty. This being silicone will be OK. The holes are small enough to strain rice but I would think anything smaller such a couscous might go through. Veg no problem. The fact that it takes up little room in the cupboard is a huge bonus.

Dieses faltbare Sieb ist nun seit einigen Jahren in regelmäßigem Gebrauch und ich kann wirklich nur Gutes berichten. Das Zusammenfalten macht es einfach nur praktisch und es nimmt in Schränken etc. kaum Platz weg. Egal ob für das Abgießen von Nudeln, das Waschen von Obst / Gemüse oder Abtopfen von z.b Kirschen, es findet fast immer Einsatz in der Küche. Auch wenn das Sieb spülmaschinengeeignet ist wird es immer von Hand gewaschen, da das Sieb sich sehr leicht reinigen lässt. Somit auch nach ein paar Jahren immer noch eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

Il ne prend pas de place, les trous sont suffisamment grands pour laisse passer l eau mais pas le riz ! Va au lave vaisselle et donne du peps à la cuisine de par sa couleur
