This is a beautifully engineered bit of kit and should be for the price.I personally think it is overpriced (£89), but there isn't much competition at the current time (Feb 2017) for a hub that can do so much in such a small quality looking package.It is very light, but very well built. It seems very high quality albeit I have a few niggles (below) which mean I can't give it five stars.I'm currently typing this on a MacBook Pro 13-inch with an external monitor, ethernet cable, external hard drive and usb keyboard and mouse attached via the hub. Everything works seamlessly on first connection.Concerns:- As commented by others, the hub only delivers 49W of power with a 61W charger. I also have a Tecknet VGA adapter and this likewise only delivers 50W of power. I'm not sure why there is such a drop in charge for these adapters.The unit gets somewhat warm even without the power connected. I'm not sure why when it is only receiving USB-C power from the MacBook when the battery is the only source of power.The unit then really warms up with the power cable in. It doesn't 'overheat', but it would actually make a nice 'hand warmer' and it's certainly much hotter than the Tecknet VGA adapter.Most strangely, to me, it gets warm with just the power connected to it and nothing else. Some old power adapters did this, but an Apple Charger won't draw any power unless there's something connected which seems a much better design.This is a bit frustrating at the end of the day. Instead of leaving it connected to my MacBook when I finish work, I feel like I should disconnect it from the mains power so it doesn't sit there endlessly using energy up, and potentially over time, I wonder whether it would cause internal damage to the components? Unless someone can convince me that this is safe and the power draw isn't particularly high, I'm dropping one star - but as there is no support website- My other niggle is that if you close the MacBook or send it to sleep, the HDMI just doesn't reconnect. Not on a 'detect displays' command, not on removing the USB-C connection, but only on taking out the HDMI cable and reinserting it again. For using every day, this is not a viable solution.I really want to like this product, it seems to do everything so well, but I just don't feel you can trust it when it runs so warm. In a few months it could be dead and you've got no warranty or returns post the first 30 days that Amazon offers. It'll have to go back until:1) The power consumption / heat issue is fixed2) There is a warranty and an actual company behind the device that would give you some sort of guarantee it will work for at least 18 months3) Ideally the HDMI issue is fixed, albeit I don't know if this is an Apple issue as I haven't got access to another adapter at presentCome on Anker and Tecknet - can't you match this with a better quality product?

Updated Review:My initial adapter had a few flaws and I had to return it. However my replacement unit performs much much better than the previous one! My USB devices all reach maximum speeds (my fastest USB stick easily hit 250MB/s; I assume SSDs will go faster), which is what one would expect from a USB 3.1 connection. The device doesn't get as hot as my previous one. It is barely handwarm, still comfortable to touch. I also had no issues with disconnecting disks as before. Display connection is also smooth and reliable no interruptions at all. So overall i am much more happy with the replacement device! It is quite versatile with all its different ports and that is what i was looking for.In case you have trouble with yours just get it replaced! Adapter is definitely awesome.

I bought this product because is the most complete you can find when you buy one of those new computer with only usb-c ports. It works well but if you have the charger connected it become extremely (and yeah, I mean it) hot and the usb drive inside become as hot. I have a macbook (not pro) so it should be the lowest possible voltage. Since I do't remember my mac been that hot, ever, I'm slightly worried that keeping a usb drive inserted for a long time might cause data corruption. I'm now trying the thinner version (without ethernet) and it seems to hold better. I'll update this review if I noticed any change.

After trying a couple of other hubs, I decided to spend a bit extra and get this one with the extra connections. It works very well and has a great range of connections. I'll not go into detail about them as you can see from the spec as to what they are, but in terms of operation, they all work well and I've had no issues. I also have a powered USB 3.0 hub plugged into one of the USB ports on it and that has increased the amount of USB points even more, and there is no issues or conflicts. As others have mentioned, it does heat up quite a bit, although for me/our climate here in Northern Ireland, it isn't an issue! It seems sturdy and well made, and it slim, sleek and looks good. I have mine running with a Samsung Galaxy Book and it's an invaluable addition.

Firstly, I like this product it works very well is highly function and is great as a substitute for my MBP's non-IO.It's well built and feels good, it comes with it's own case although I can't help feeling a pang of discomfort when I hear the USB-C connecting touching the body of the dongle.I've had no real performance issues as the things I'm running through it tend to consume a fair bit of power, but not enough to justify buying a powered one. I've had a squeal, come from the dongle after using all three of the USB-B ports, which is a little disconcerting but I was using a hard drive and two iLoks. I'm not sure if this is typical behaviour but that's about the only negative I can find. It runs a little hot over time, but I wouldn't expect it to be any different.I suggest that if you are looking to connect many different devices that require an awful lot of power, go buy a powered hub rather than this. It's a great product to replace you're entire inbuilt IO into one small hub.

Now bought three of these, great for improving connectivity on 2017 MacBookPro's. They do get very hot when in use but seem to suffer no ill effects. I plug ethernet, 3 USB leads, HDMI and the charger lead into it, so in the morning I only have to use 1 port to connect all my peripherals.I use a separate USB-C adaptor when connecting an external hard drive / back up device. Given the power demands of these items of equipment and the amount of data flowing through the port, I think it places unrealistic demands on any multi-port dongle.

Después de llevar varios meses usándolo, no recomiendo su uso, y explico los motivos:- Se caliente una barbaridad, que me da miedo enganchar un pendrive por si me llegara a quedar sin él.- El monitor se queda sin señal bastantes veces, la solución es tener que desenchufar el HUB y volverlo a enchufar, parece cómodo, pero si tienes más cosas conectadas al hub, pues.. te ha jodido.- Como cosa curiosa, en el MacBook Pro de 13'' del 2017, cuando conecto el HUB, el rendimiento de la wifi baja considerablemente, lo tengo comprobado y lo achacaba a la red.Estoy valorando la opción de comprar otro HUB, porque éste no me da garantías de fiabilidad.Si pudiera... lo descambiaba, pero ya me es imposible por el tiempo que ha pasado.

El producto tiene un diseño precioso, muy buenos materiales al tacto y un tamaño muy comedido para la cantidad de puertos que ofrece. Me llevé la grata sorpresa de ver como incluye una funda para protegerlo en el transporte.Es ideal para llevarlo siempre en la bolsa del portátil. Ocupa y pesa muy poco. Los colores combinan muy bien con la gama de colores de MacBook 12" de Apple.Mi unidad resultó defectuosa y presentaba problemas de sobrecalentamiento e interrupción del funcionamiento. Pero el fabricante, aún fuera del periodo de devolución, me ofreció una solución muy satisfactoria. Dado el resto de comentarios a este artículo, entiendo que mi caso no es generalizado. Viendo como responde el fabricante ante cualquier fallo en su dispositivo, recomiendo totalmente su compra.

Per il mio nuovo macbook pro 2017 è un accessorio fondamentale. Veramente un all in one che, se visto nella sua totalità, ha un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Stop con il ricordarsi di aver preso tutti gli accessori. Basta mettere solo questo in valigia ed è tutto ok. Il macBook diventa funzionale ed operativo con tutte le periferiche. Non scalda, compatto e comodo. Provato il collegamento Ethernet e HD Esterno USB 3.0. Ottimo. Super la funzionalità della carica passante. Basta inserire l'alimentatore di fianco alla porta ethernet ed il Mac si ricarica. Accessorio super consigliato.

Pregi:1. tante porte e il fatto che disponga anche di una USB/C che fa sì che non riduca il numero totale di USB/C nel sistema al quale si collega.2. Molto bello e curato esteticamente e nella confezione con la quale viene consegnato.Difetti:1. il cavo è corto e il dispositivo nella maggioranza dei casi resterà "appeso" ma essendo leggero non dovrebbe essere un grosso problema.2. Scalda un po', ma anche questo non dovrebbe essere un grave problema.3. Il prezzo è abbastanza elevato. Se non lo si compra con lo sconto forse conviene prendere qualcosa che sia meno "bello" e meno versatile ma più economico.Anche se sembrerebbe che i pregi siano meno dei difetti è in realtà un adattatore "convincente e professionale".

Partendo con il fatto che mi è arrivato in meno di una settimana e per questo chapeau al venditore e ad Amazon.it sempre affidabile.Ho ordinato questo prodotto dopo aver visto una recensione su YouTube del noto Andrea Galeazzi, mi sono fidato del suo parere e ho deciso di investire per questo prodotto da utilizzare con il mio MacBook Pro 13 modello base del 2017.Visto il costo forse un po alto di 80 euro, posso dire che dopo averlo usato dopo vari mesi questo è un adattatore super che vale tutta la spesa effettuata, il prodotto non dimostra qualità Premium dei materiali essendo in gran parte di plastica, ma assicura affidabilità e qualità generale, ha tutte le porte indispensabili comprese SD e micro SD, che dire, non solo sono rimasto sbalordito dalle dimensioni che sono poco più di un palmo della mano ma anche dalla comodità soprattutto per l'entrata HDMI che mi è servita e non solo una volta.Non preoccupatevi se durante l'uso notate un po di riscaldamento dell'adattatore, è normalissimo e non mi ha mai dato nessun problema fino ad ora nonostante lo utilizzi spesso.Posso concludere affermando che questo è un acquisto sicuro, cioè che non dovete preoccuparvi o avere dubbi se sia affidabile, perché si 80 euro posso essere tanti per un adattatore ma fidatevi, li vale tutti fino all'ultimo centesimo!

Acquistato per il mio nuovo MacBook.Ottima qualità costruttiva, scocca in alluminio color grigio siderale ben fatta e molto simile al MacBook. Non sono un fan dei profili in plastica sui lati più corti dell'adattatore, stonano un pò e mi sembrano un passo indietro dal punto di vista del design. Ottimo il cavetto che collega l'adattatore alla USB-Cdal Computer, come tutte le porte che sono ben fatte e funzionano alla perfezione. Ho riscontrato un certo riscaldamento dell'HUB in fase di utilizzo, anche non particolarmente intenso. Anche da questo punto di vista può ancora migliorare.Chi ha comprato quel computer sa che questo adattatore è la vita. Naturalmente mi riferisco alla totale assenza di porte USB tradizionali e slot SD in particolare. Questo HUB, per il uso quotidiano e semiprofessionale, rappresenta tutto ciò di cui ho bisogno per il mio flusso di lavoro.Promosso quindi, utilissimo, anche se ancora leggermente migliorabile. Non mi sono affatto pentito dell'acquisto.

Per chiunque deve passare da usb a USB-C questo accessorio deve essere comprato.Ha tutto quello che serve, 3 porte usb 3, una porta HDMI, una slot SD e una MicroSD, una porta rete.Forse l'unico difetto che scalda molto, ma visto che può anche alimentare il pc (o Mac) e alimenta anche il resto, non appoggiate il cioccolato sopra o sostanze termosensibili (io ho anche il ThermaPAK, quindi posso dissipare anche il suo calore).Come detto da Comprare.update 2017Dec13:dopo un paio di mesi, probabilmente anche a causa dello standard USB-C (e del cattivo progetto Apple, che ha ripetuto lo stesso errore dei vecchi caricatori MagSafe con il cavo "ortogonale" con correnti vaganti), se avete più hard disk connessi potrebbe non bastare la potenza elettrica per alimentarli tutti, inoltre anche se disconnesso dal pc, se il cavo di alimentazione è ancora connesso alla corrente, anche gli hd lo sono ancora quindi attenzione a sbalzi ecc.

Utilizzato con Nuovo MacBookPro 13" Retina 2017, Ha funzionato per qualche giorno poi l'uscita HDMI ha smesso di funzionare rischiando di danneggiare anche il monitor perchè ha iniziato a "scoppiettare", il dispositivo da subito scalda quasi da non tenerci le mani sopra.Il problema dell'HDMI è dovuto dal troppo surriscaldamento infatti se lo raffreddavo appoggiandolo su una superficie ghiacciata funziona fino a quando non si surriscalda nuovamente.Ho quindi dovuto fare il reso e giudico pessimo questo prodotto perchè di fatto è inutilizzabile.

Dalle recensioni positive lette qui su amazon mi aspettavo molto di più.Il prodotto scalda veramente troppo, probabilmente non ci sono problemi ma sicuramente non trasmette una certa sicurezza.L' HDMI non fa il suo dovere, attaccato ad un monitor full hd, la risoluzione è sgranata, il solito monitor lo utilizzo con un pc con windows e la risoluzione è perfetta.La porta lan non ho mai avuto necessita di usarla. Le porte usb e sd fanno il suo dovere. Come un altro adattatore molto più economico.La nota più dolente è che spesso mi fa saltare la connessione wifi del Macbook e fino a che non viene staccato la connessione non riparte.Un prodotto che secondo me non vale assolutamente i 90€ spesi per comprarlo

Il prodotto a distanza di mesi si è dimostrato sempre affidabile, nessun problema di compatibilità ed offre anche la porta ethernet (sempre meno usata ma ormai rarissima da trovare nel mondo dei portatili).L'unico appunto è che scalda particolarmente ma comunque non ha mai prodotto conseguenze negative durante l'utilizzo.Consigliatissimo a tutti quelli che hanno pc con porta type C/thunderbolt 3 che vogliono avere tutte le porte possibili ed immaginabili (forse giusto aggiungendo una VGA si sarebbe completato il tutto ma purtroppo era esaurito lo spazio)

Lo utilizzo per un MacBook Pro 2017 e non ha mai dato problemi.Nell’utilizzo intenso scalda pochissimo, direi quasi niente.Sembra costruito con ottimo materiale. Non perde mai la connessione.Aggiornamento:A circa 8-9 mesi dall'acquisto sono emersi alcuni problemi:- Surriscaldamento anche se è collegato solamente un mouse- Velocità di trasferimento dati pessima- Se è già collegata un'unità di memoria usb all'adattatore in questione e collego un'altra memoria usb... la prima memoria collegata si disconnette causando un errore di disconnessione.- A volte se scollego una delle memorie usb (con il giusto procedimenti di espelli memoria) si scollega anche la seconda memoria.A circa un anno dall’acquisto il prodotto non é più utilizzabile in quanto le morie collegate si disconnettono spesso. Contattato il venditore è atteso più di 2 giorni lavorativi non ha neanche risposto alla mail senza quindi risolvere il problema.Contattato servizio clienti Amazon che ha risolto il problema restituendo la somma e riprendendo indiretto il dispositivo guasto.Mi spiace ma non acquisterò più nessun oggetto dal venditore Egolggo IT

E' un accessorio molto utile per il nuovo Macbook pro 13 pollici che ha solo porte USB3; è compatto ma tutte le porte sono ben accessibili. Non l'ho ancora usato tante volte ma talvolta ho avuto qualche problema di malfunzionamento: un cavo di rete non si connetteva stabilmente nella sua porta, un mouse wireless con chiavetta USB ogni tanto non funzionava... insomma non tutto è andato liscio come invece viene assicurato nella descrizione e nel manualetto incluso.Inoltre con un uso un po intenso si scalda molto.Il prezzo è piuttosto alto considerando che ha presentato qualche malfunzionamento: se questi problemi divenissero troppo frequenti dovrò cercare qualcosa di alternativo

Vorab:Ich habe den HUB zwei mal bestellen müssen. Beim ersten hatte ich alle paar Stunden einen Ausfall des HDMI gehabt. Umgetauscht und der neue funktioniert wesentlich besser, wobei die Störung bzw. der Aussetzer immer nochmal wieder kommt (Zeitabstände ca. 6-8 Stunden) reicht für den Hausgebrauch und ich werde ihn erstmal behalten.Der Hub tut im großen und ganzen, was er soll. Bemerkenswert im direkten Vergleich zu anderen Hubs, die ich ich in Nutzung hatte, dass man tatsächlich alle Anschlüsse gleichzeitig verwenden kann. Nachteil hierbei ist allerdings, dass die angegeben Leistungswerte des Herstellers nicht so ganz mit der Realität übereinstimmen, wobei ich die Übertragungsraten im einzelnen nicht bemessen habe.Beim Anschluss:Der Hub wird sofort erkannt und ohne jedes Problem. Der Hub sitzt allerdings recht locker und hat nach unten zur Auflagefläche ca. 2mm-3mm Luft. Gefährliche Kombi, wenn man mal nicht aufpasst bricht der Hub nach unten weg - ist mir genau so schon bei einem Alternativgerät passiert.Der Hub wird nach ca. 30 Minütiger Nutzung während des Betriebs sehr warm, was allerdings im direkten Vergleich zu meinem alten HUB kein Beinbruch ist. ich denke aufgrund des Gehäuses wird die Wärme hier doch effizienter abgeleitet.Ist alles nicht wirklich tragisch, jedoch in der Masse gesehen und bei dem derzeit recht ordentlichen Preis keine 5 Sterne Wertung, was eigentlich Schade ist - da er vom reinen Betrieb her eine Menge Möglichkeiten in einem verbindet.
