Does the job superbly!
I'm no hifi expert but this little box does the job well as far as I can see.I use it to connect the TV, HD recorder and bluray boxes to a single pair of speakers I bought for £80. These are not top end speakers but deliver a much richer, deeper and clearer sound than the TV speakers for a reasonable price. Its small and leight; looks neat and clean; no external power required; crisp action on selection of buttons; no noticeable loss of sound quality; great price; feels solid enough for its job. I cant fault it.I bought some rca cables(*) that are very flexible on the cable, so minimizing the "pull" they exert on the box. It sits solidly in place on top of my bluray player.Unless you are after absolute top notch quality then these will work nicely. I have tried connecting the sound sources directly to the speakers and I notice no loss in quality when connecting them via this unit.(*) - Cable Mountain 1m High Quality Gold Plated 2x Phono to 2x Phono RCA Cable

Great for expanding your HI-FI, works great in reverse too
I bought one of these last year, and then bought two more recently to expand my HI-FI’s functionality. Simple to use and fits perfectly in my set up.I have two of these working in reverse - that is using one input to 3 switchable outputs - as they are totally passive, there is no issue doing this. I have mentioned this as no-one seems to have mentioned it already, and it was a specific use case I needed. As for build quality, you can tell the injection moulding has been done to a price, but the end product is solid and if anyone was to ask for a simple, passive audio switcher, this is the one I’d recommend for simplicity and low cost whilst delivering exactly what is expected of it.

Does the job well!
Excellent product, bit cheap and plasticky with clunky buttons but it looks fine and fits in with my set up well. No power cords just plug and go. Use it to switch between Bluetooth and CD.Would definitely recommend.

Superb
This switch unit is fantastic and is in daily use.I use it, together with a BluTooth receiver, to play radio and streamed music through my 1980s hi-fi system. It allows me to switch to other sources such as the TV (by cable), and the hi-fi components. The price was very low so exceptional value for money.

Works fantastically well.
So I bought a fancy HDMI matrix device that supposedly allows you to choose your input and output video and audio with a remote control. Cost me a fortune, around £70. Only issue is it doesn't properly switch audio, it makes a horrible loud hiss every switch, and the toslink output doesn't switch. SO I decided to get something simple, affordable and rugged. I saw this and snapped it up for next day delivery along with a couple of cheap digital to analogue audio converters. This thing works fantastically well. You press the button it selects the audio source. Bam. It's well built, rugged, clearly not going to fall apart with use any time soon. I did have a little issue of some buzzing when I first set it up, but I think it was more because I had allowed the phono cable connectors to touch other cables. Once I unplugged it and re-set it up, the sound became clear. It kills me that a cheap device such as this does a better job than an expensive, fancy, HDMI matrix. My only wish was that there was a 2-button version of this, as for my use case it'll never have a 3rd source, and because there's no backlight, it's easy to press button 3 instead of button 2 in the dark.Strongly recommend.

OK if you don't want to pay twice as much.
Plastic casing and buttons. Light build. The device prevents you from selecting more than one button, but sometimes I feel that the buttons are a bit too "squishy", and other times I have to click twice and more firmly to ensure that I get the proper stereo output. Because of the light build, cables at the back will pull the device up.Hasn't broken after two years of use, but I'm considering buying a full-metal one like B-tech.

Neat and effective
Bought this to increase number of components I could link to the old amplifier I use at my desk. Arrived quickly, no fuss to plug in (wasn't expecting any cables based on previous reviews). Works perfectly. Have checked it for bleed across channels and there doesn't appear to be any (usb turntable, dab and ipod on 9mm phono jack trialled). Switching is solid. So the unit is simple and feels quite slight to hold, but it does one thing really well: some reviews of other units commented on the fact that a lightweight switch would tilt backwards under the weight of 4 sets of stereo leads (one out and three in) - this one stays put. No sign of lifting at all and whilst you have to apply some downwards pressure to the unit to activate the switches (otherwise it'll slide backwards) it's sitting very nicely on my desk. Quick bit of cutting out post-its and it's all labelled up and good to go. Would recommend as a budget switch - wouldn't like to comment on high-end audio, but for a tenner it's perfect.

Good value switching unit.
If you require a cheap and simple switching unit to expand upon your amplifiers inputs, this is very good value. No noise when in circuit, and fairly crude but efficient switching. Very light though, so tips back when laden with cables and slips when buttons pressed. I stopped this with self adhesive pads, ok if you have a surface that won't get damaged from this, but it does improve the operating experience. Certainly not 'high end', but does the job well.

Buona qualità, Consigliato
Usato per collegare sorgenti audio con equalizzatore parametrico-amplificatore, niente rumori o fruscii. Unico contro le RCA non sono dorate ma nichelate. Rimane stabile dopo i collegamenti.

Ottimo dispositivo
