Great and quick paint removal
Saved me hours of scraping and sanding off old paint. Very satisfying to see the old paint bubbling off and easy removal. Sometimes took two coats but it works well. Need to be careful using it though, wear gloves and wipe up any spills beyond the area worked on. But that's clear on the instructions for use.

Effective product
It worked but took a huge amount of effort to remove the old worn varnish from the quarry tiles

Paint and varnish stripper
Messy needed 2 coats. Paint easy removal but varnish not easy to remove. Dries quickly

This is good stuff
I tried 3 different paint strippers to get the paint off 2 old and 1 brand new die-cast metal car models. All 3 failed to touch the paint so I decided to ignore the bad reviews I read for this Nitromors and give it a go. I applied it liberally and wrapped the bodies in cling film and left them for an hour. When I came back to them every drop of paint fell off easily. I don’t know why some reviews say it’s rubbish, it worked perfectly for me.

Highly Recommended
An excellent product. I bought this for my husband to work on a average size radiator which had been badly painted at least 2/3times. So lumpy drips etc. Having been trained car body work when young in the days before radiators came in bare metal, he has brought old rads to look like new. Therefore he was looking for something to easily take off all the badly done paintwork... & was very pleased with this product. Because the rad was in a bad state it took 2/3 'goes' to get it all off. It does need patience to do this but the end result was great, looks like new. This size pot was adequate for this average sized rad for 2/3 applications if needed. If you're new to this kind of job do follow instructions & ensure you lay paper under to make it easier to get rid of the flakes of old paint & rubbing down dust. Highly recommended.

Stripped a guitar.
I used this to strip a sunburst finish of nitrocelulose lacquer from a guitar. The layers at the edge of the guitar were thicker (more numerous) than the centre. The centre required only 1 treatment (2 coats as per instructions) and came off after only 10 minutes using a plastic scraper. The outer edge required 4 such treatments. I am very happy with the results. The wood is very light maple and did not stain from the green gel. It did attack the plastic binding but got wiped off quickly each time and there is nothing that light sanding or steel wool can't cure there. 1 small tin like this is not enough for a guitar. I recomend the 750ml for a job this size. Just to be clear, it WILL strip nitrocelulose lacquer which is thinners based. I have not tried it on polyurethane which is notoriously hard to strip.
