What does the xtreme version give over the non-xtreme version?

The tape is wider and strong and the hook is two dimensional - overall a pro version. Solid built product.

The pictures are showing too different tapes is this just an error? Does it come with the hook shown in the first picture?

Yes the end hook is silver as in the first photo

Is it Guaranteed if stops working within6months wont retract

Not sure I stop using after few days, because it was too fiddle to pull the tape out.
