I'd read some pretty good reviews on this, but struggled to find examples of people who already have light hair using it. I have silvery, greying hair and was hoping to nudge it more towards blonde, but that's not what this does at all. In fact, it did nothing to my hair over the course of a month.Perhaps it works great if you have black/blonde/ginger hair, but don't bother if your hair is already grey or blonde as it won't work.The smell was not too bad. A little bit chemically, but not unpleasant. It makes your hair appear a little oily until you've blow-dried it, but then makes it very dry so use sparingly.

I was a bit sceptical about this product but it definitely does lighten your hair! I wanted lighter hair for the summer and it definitely gives me that natural sun bleached vibe :)

This stuff is brilliant! And such a good price!Not going on holiday for a few years meant my curly hair had turned nearly black, which it had never been before. It’s now several shades lighter with some nice blonde strands mixed in. My hairdresser thought I’d bleached/coloured it.
