Bemis 2850CPT Buxton STAY TIGHT Toilet Seat - White, 5.0 cm*43.0 cm*35.0 cm

I have searched for years for the perfect toilet seat the NEVER moves, having paid up to forty pounds for seats that claim they do not move, only to be very disappointed as the claims were not true. This one by far exceeds my expectations, even though I was very sceptical on ordering. It really fits perfect and there is absolutely no movement at all, looking at the construction I have full faith this will never move. The added bonus of this is just how easy it is to fit, it also meets the claims of simple fitting with the STA-TITE fixing system with bolts that automatically shear on reaching correct tension. This product is very well priced and worth every penny. Cosmetically it looks good as well as the lid covers the bottom section, meaning neatness of look. Sturdy construction as well. Comes with chrome hinges and they are solid with absolutely no movement, back or forward and more importantly side to side.UPDATE 1.5.16. I continue to be fully satisfied with this seat 6 months on, I can honestly say this has not moved at all in any way and is still fixed as tight as the day it was fitted. Amazing product that has stood up to the test of time and quality.UPDATE 17.10.16 Still going strong, still absolutely no movement at all either back to front or importantly sideways, this continues to stand the test of time and still as tight as the day it was fitted. Fantastic product that has continued to satisfy completely.

This seat really does fit very well and does not move left or right at all. Excellent product!

This gets 4 stars because:- Whilst it's lightweight, it feels extremely solid and secure once installed- I can see how the 'does not budge' claim could be true. So far it's fixed in place and does not move at all, even when lifting and lowering the seat and lidWhy this does not get 5 stars:- The so called 'chrome-plated' hinges just look like plastic painted silver, making them look a little bit tacky. Not sure if they'll eventually start to chip- Maybe my toilet is weird compared to everyone else's, but for the life of me I could not get the toilet seat to position correctly with the 'bushings'. Was I reading the instructions wrong? I'm certain I wasn't. Maybe I'm missing something? I don't think so as I'm usually quite good at stuff like this. Do these bushings only work with a particular toilet? Who knows, because the instructions just weren't explicit enough! As a result I spent way too much time with my face way too close to the toilet. In the end I gave up and decided to just finish the job without the bushings. I wish I'd done that sooner because not using them doesn't seem to have made any difference to the final outcome. Maybe their purpose will eventually come to light and I'll regret giving up on them, however right now I don't care as I'm just glad not to be in the toilet anymore. In addition I didn't bother with the 'using a wrench to tighten the nuts until the bottom part snaps off' instruction. Finger tightening seems to have done the job.- My only other criticism is that around the underside edge of the toilet seat, the plastic is a little rough in places, however you can't see it so it's not a big dealAll in all, I'm happy with this purchase

The toilet at my new house is only about ten centimetres from a wall, with a radiator on it too. So you have to sit slightly sidesaddle to fit on, and avoid getting a very overheated leg! As a result of this, the existing toilet seat which actually looked new, broke at the hinges within a week. I really couldn't face going through a whole load of seats so did quite a bit of googling around and this seat looked like the best option. Well it's been on a couple of weeks now. It hasn't moved a jot, it's VERY good quality, the hinges look good. I think this is the best (and most expensive) seat I've bought but would happily pay double!Only time will tell if it fails, but if it does, I'll come back and add it to this post!

Best toilet seat that I've ever purchased by far, and I've waited a few months after installing to leave this review...Instructions for installation are refreshingly written in very good english and have pics that accompany them.The 'patent pending' automatic break-off bolt (which is 1/2 inch I believe) is absolutely foolproof and makes installation a doddle.Quality is AMAZING once fitted and it simply does not move at all! Perhaps the finish could be slightly more sanded down (smoother) in places for better comfort but I'm just knit picking here, it's supremely comfortable and highly recommended, in fact I ordered 2 as TYPICALLY the downstairs one broke soon after the upstairs, never rains but it pours lol

Overall the product works as expected and as described. The installation is pretty straight forward if not a bit fiddly and the Stay Tight design works incredibly well!My only issue is that it doesn't really fit my toilet properly. After installation, there are a good few centimetres of the toilet rim exposed on either side and the front.As I had checked the measurements before ordering I found this quite odd.I have since discovered that the dimensions given on the product listing apply to the lid of the seat and not the seat itself. The actual dimension of the seat at its widest point is 34cm and 43cm at its longest.This seat has been installed on a pretty standard toilet, it's a shame that the fit isn't a bit more universal as otherwise it works well.

I have no criticism of this seat. It was easy to fit and seems ok. It's not a perfect fit, as my toilet is the round type in an En Suite. What i would warn buyers about is the size of the bolts used!! I unpacked the seat and removed the old seat. Then, as per simple instructions, i put the bolts into the seat and line it up. Great, it fits the holes and sits flat. I then get on my knees to fit and hand tighten the plastic nuts. I see, due to the bowl design, only about 1/4" of the bolt showing. Doh. Rather than returning the seat, i managed to purchase 2 longer bolts and everything was fine. So, as well as all the other measurements, look at how deep the holes are. The bolts provided are 80mm, i needed 100mm.

Perfetto soprattutto per il montaggio e la sua stabilità.Arriva in una confezione con foto e descizione del prodotto.In esso troviamo il copri wc i suoi attacchi e un foglietto illustrativo.Le cerniere sono in metallo e vanno montate tramite un sistema che permette di rmanere ben saldo senza trabballare. Gli attacchi sono per i water con buchi aperti e non quelli ciechi.Si avvitano le viti sulle cerniere si inseriscono deglu spessori, si fanno passare nei buchi del wc. E si avvitano con dei dadi in plastica tramite una chiave da 13. Una volta avvitate bene ,il dado di plastica si pezza, ciò signigica che il copriwater è stato stretto al giusto serraggio.Il materiale e di plastica dura molto resistente e con una seduta confortevole. Di un bianco opaco ,si intona con i sanitari bianchi.Insomma la stabilità e molto buona e il suo prezzo e interessanteConsiglio il suo acquisto.

Inicialmente, estaba muy contento con este asiento y nunca se movió, sin embargo, la calidad de las bisagras no es buena, es decir, después de 2 años, una de las bisagras cromadas ha desarrollado un agujero en la superficie en la parte donde está el tornillo roscado. adjunto debajo.

Il copriwater, come descritto, è in materiale termoplastico. Precedentemente avevo un copriwater in legno laccato che sicuramente era più solido, ma essendo più pesante m'aveva rotto le cerniere. Questo invece ha delle cerniere mi sembrano più durature, sia perchè sono ben incassate, sia perchè il copriwater è più leggero. Le viti in dotazioni sono in materiale plastico/gomma, ma molto solide e devo dire (contrariamente a quello che hanno scritto alcuni) molto semplici da installare e di fissaggio ben efficace. Unica nota dolente sono le cerniere universali che portano ad adattarsi a qualsiasi water, ma ovviamente non al 100% e quindi, anche se non sta male, il copriwater nel mio caso fuoriesce un pò.

Finora sembrerebbe essere stato un buon acquisto. Installato da poco più di 1 anno, non si è rovinato nulla finora.CARATTERISTICHE 🧐- è realizzato in materiale Thermoplastic (che è completamente riciclabile), con cerniere in metallo cromato- si adatta bene a varie DIMENSIONI di water, avendo ben 5 buchi per ogni piastrina di fissaggio- ha un SISTEMA DI FISSAGGIO che hanno brevettato che sembrerebbe molto comodo: bisogna avvitare i dadi in plastica fin quando la parte inferiore non si "rompe" e quindi si stacca. Secondo il produttore questo sistema permette di fissare il copriwater in maniera stabile, senza subire allentamenti che fanno muovere la tavoletta (nelle foto si può vedere un dado prima del fissaggio e un dado mancante della parte inferiore, perchè è stato stretto correttamente)- per la pulizia consigliano acqua calda e detergente delicato, evitando prodotti aggressivi (candeggina, alcool,...)LATI POSITIVI 👍🏻- il water sembra resistente e in effetti non si è mosso dalla sua posizione- semplice da installare (vi basterà avere una chiave di misura 13)- ci sono le istruzioni di montaggio, molto chiare- il prezzo che avevo pagato era onestoSoddsfatto dell'acquisto, te lo consiglio! ✔️
