Aphogee Kertain 2 Minute Reconstructor 473 ml

I have long, bleached blonde hair, and it was brittle, dry and kept breaking off. I washed my hair my a regular shampoo, got out of the shower, towelled my hair dry so it was damp / partially dry (always be gentle especially with damaged hair) then with a wide tooth comb I very patiently and gently de-tangled from washing, (because you shouldn't use any sort of conditioner before this treatment you need to take your time so you don't drag your hair out). Because my hair is quite thick I sectioned off my hair and saturated it with the treatment, also paying attention to the roots and scalp (it works wonders for dry scalp too!) and my damaged ends. Clipped it up and left in a shower cap for less than 10 minutes (not 2 minutes aha but ah well) then get in the shower and rinsed off. You honestly can feel the difference instantly. Wetting my hair in the shower, it felt smooth and moisturised almost like I've given it a deep condition. Conditioned it as normal then I styled as normal. When I was de-tangling my hair for a second time after showering, my hair detangled much more easily, it was less dry and felt less brittle. It looked much shinier after I blow dryed. I haven't tried the two step treatment and wanted to see what this product was like before I tried it, and now I've bought the two step treatment to see what it's like as well because this stuff really is good. It doesn't instantly repair your hair back to its state before the damage but it's a bigger improvement. I've used it twice now and I can see the difference and feel it too. My hair does feel softer and smoother. I hope with continued use my hair's condition will improve! I think for the price as well it's worth you giving it a go to see if it works for you.

This stuff is brilliant! I use Aphogee shampoo, dry my hair and then plaster this stuff on. I use far more than they recommend and I leave it on longer - but these are small quibbles, as it works an absolute treat! A bottle lasts ages and the price is excellent. I usually put it on with my fingertips, twist my hair into a bun on top of my head and then stick a cloth-covered shower cap on top and relax in the bath for 10 minutes. Then I rinse and put the deep moisture conditioner on while the hair is wet and sit for another five minutes. Rinse the lot and then stick some of the protein-enriched Aphogee serum on. All the products are excellent and really cheap - far better than Tigi! I have straight light brown hair that went prematurely grey and has been dyed light ash blonde for years - and for years it looked really dry. Now it doesn't and I haven't cut it in over a year. Also, after a while I found I didn't need to use this reconstructor every time as the condition improved so much - could just use the shampoo, balancing conditioner and serum.

I've been dying my hair bright colors for over 20 years and bleaching it to be as blonde as possible. My natural hair (I have that?) color is a very dark brown, so I've been using the highest strength bleach on my head for so long my hair is pretty dead. The past year my hair has gotten really thin from bad diet and stress, brushing my hair becomes a horror show lol. Normally when i blow dry my hair it becomes so frizzy and fuzzy that it no longer looks like hair and I have to spend 30 minutes with my straighteners on it just to lie vaguely like hair again. Anyways, I bought this because I was sidetracked while looking for strong conditioner. Best thing i've ever put on my hair. Guys, how did you manage to make something that stops me needing to straighten my hair? It hair dryed straight and so shiny my fringe had an actual gloss to it for the first time in years. Magic! I'll be buying nothing but this in the future... I can't stop patting my head, it's the first time it's felt soft without being weighed down by spray on oily conditoners/serums for so long. My scalp also feels very clean and calm for once. I'll defnitely be trying out the other products to see if i can find some ultimate hair care combo here. Thank you so much for a product that actually does what it promises! I'll be using this every week now, today was my first try with it.

My hair is really really badly damaged from bleaching twice in one day, dying the same day and heat styling. It is dry, frizzy and cannot tolerate heat. The ends are badly breaking off and it has no movement, shine or life. I used this product and left it on my hair for 15 minutes due to its frazzled appearance. It has a lovely smell! I wasn't expecting much given the horrendous state of my hair. But to my surprise when I rinsed it off my hair was super super soft, full of movement and shiny for the first time in months! I was soooo pleased, that I cannot understand for the life of me why I did what I did next......I blow dried and straightened it with GHDs......foolish woman! It is frazzled once again. I think that for the price, this is a great treatment and would've made a fantastic difference if I had used it and let my hair dry naturally. I will try again......!

I have 3c/4a hair, been using this product for a couple years now. I've been natural for about 7 years but never did protein treatments, and then wondered why I kept getting so many split ends and breakage -___-. I used conditioning products all the time, but my hair wasn't retaining any type of moisturizer - even water took a few minutes to really get through my hair shafts! It was so bad. Once I figured out the importance of protein treatments, I knew I would need something quick that I can incorporate easily into my weekly washing routine, because I have neither the patience or the time to regularly do a whole separate protein treatment routine in addition to washing. I browsed all the protein treatment products at my local Sally's and decided to give this a shot first because it was the quickest to use lol. Well this product most certainly fit the bill! Not only do I have less problems with split ends, my hair retains moisture so much better and my corkscrew coils are so well defined after ^_^! I end up using less product for conditioning/moisturizing and my hair is overall more manageable. The moisture retention benefit sticks for two weeks without another treatment, but I do it weekly to keep up definition and reduce frizz. I noticed a couple reviews saying that this stuff made their hair stiff or break off, which was a little bothersome. This is a PROTEIN treatment product, not a conditioner, not a shampoo. It is not designed to take the place of either of these, and it will make your hair stiff - that's what protein does. If you don't moisturize/condition your hair after using this, your hair will be dry and more prone to breakage than usual. So use the product as instructed and hydrate and condition your hair immediately after! I love this stuff, it's done wonders for the manageability and texture of my hair. I It's affordable, easy to use, and I recommend it to anyone with type 4 hair.

This protein deep conditioner was just what my type 4 hair needed. Made a big difference to my hair. Was breaking and shedding and seemed quite weak but after conditioning, my hair felt stronger and even soft. I didn’t even have to follow with a moisturizing deep conditioner. Found a new favorite!!!
