The vessel is very sturdy and has precise measurements; however, these tend to wear off with time.

Use for slimming word diet

It is compact, light weight, easy to store, easy to use. It has markings to measure not only the liquid but alsosugar, flour and rice. A great little helper in the kitchen for baking! Very happy with the item!

I was excited to finally find something that allowed me to measure in smaller increments, as opposed to those which jump from 50 to 100. As it was made by Pyrex, I expected it to be made of a sturdy material that would last me years and years (as their other products have done so) however unfortunately mine has chipped within a few weeks of use. The glass is much thinner and less hardy than I had hoped, which is a shame since it's such a well designed product. The fact that it is made of glass is perfect, especially for measuring oils and fats (so much easier to clean compared to plastic). It can even be used in the microwave to melt butter! The pouring lip makes it so much easier to gradually pour as you mix without having the liquid dribble down the side.
