Update 12/23/2025 I saw it in the closet and decided to try it out again. Plugged it in and it works! I'm not sure what happened before. My kids love it. So I guess I gotta up the stars from one to four for the inconvenience. Old review: Does not work anymore. Purchased for Christmas in 2022 and probably gotten 5 uses out of it before it just stopped working. Waste of money!

For the price it is a good start for new drummers. Bought it for my 6 year old niece who wanted a true drum set. Initially, she was disappointed it wasn't a real set, but once she started playing with the drum pad she was smiling and very happy with it. The pad is very responsive and sounds great. The record option is a nice touch my niece loves using. It's not overly loud, but is loud enough to feel like you are playing the drums. A great option for early drummers.

Works great sounds good easy storage

I bought this item because I was looking for an alternative to a drum set for my 6 year old daughter and this was the perfect solution. At first, I was concerned about the electronics when being rolled up, but after thorough testing and retesting, my concerns disappeared. I love the size of the drum pad and the fact that it can be rolled up without any harm to the electronics of it is awesome. I tested each of the 9 pads multiple times and used different amounts of force when hitting and it worked every time. The sound quality was better than I had expected and I love that there is an option for a 3.5mm audio jack so my daughter can bang away and not bother the rest of the house. Everything about this set is a positive for me. It's a great size and starter set for any child interested in music without the commitment of a full sized drum set. The product looks EXACTLY as pictured in the product images above. It was nicely packaged and everything was there. Overall, it is a great product and I would recommend it to any parent.
