Brilliant as long as your fabric is not mid blue!
This pen is a mid turquoise-blue, so needs a contrast to show up at its best, but it worked very well for everything I wanted to use it on (including a blue gingham). It does wipe away really easily with a damp sponge - or even a licked finger to correct your drawing as you go along. Pity there are no other colours, but the pen was juicy and you can make quite a strong line.Have done 2 medium projects and it is still working well.

Actual sorcery how easy it comes off with water, and pretty good precision marking and ink flow.
Would buy again, just hoping it doesn't dry out too quick. Might be good to offer more 'unusual' colours as i often sew blue fabric this blends into more

Essential fabric pen
I've been looking for one of these pens for a while now, trying to find the right one and I have not been disappointed by this one.It has a nice fine tip for making more precise measurement marks and the blue shows clearly on any light-coloured fabric, allowing for accurate cutting. The best bit is that it does exactly as it promises - any remaining marks disappear using a damp cloth, leaving no trace of the pen on the final piece. This is a great essential pen for anyone sewing or altering clothes, curtains, etc.

Used these for years
I’ve been using these pens for years and they work really well. Last a long time and wash off the fabric once the item is complete.

Mark comes back when ironed
The pen does come off fabric when it is dabbed. The issue I have is the blue line comes back when it is ironed. This was not very clever when I marked up a panel of patchwork to make a quilt. I guess that every time I wash or iron it in future I will have to spend unnecessary time dabbing the fabric to get the blue pen line out.

'A Gem for the Sewing Basket'
I have bought three of these wipe off pens for my dressmaking and cannot rate this particular brand highly enough. I have used many different products to transfer markings from pattern to fabric including transfer paper and a serrated roller but I always go back to relying on these little gems. They are easily wiped off with a cloth dipped in cold water, the marks just dissolve away. The only thing I have found is that on certain fabrics such as lining fabric and occasionally linen the ink will bleed a little so I use sparingly, otherwise they are excellent. I have on odd occasions accidently run a hot iron over them but this hasn't set the mark and once noticed I wet it again with cold water and it still came off. The pens have a long shelf life unlike some others I have tried in different colours which are not as reliable and dry up fairly quickly.Wouldn't be without one in my basket!

Be careful and test first.
Be careful and always test first. I used this on a cotton t-shirt. Marked, sewed, erased, with damp sponge. All the marking disappeared. Great, I thought. Had to use a lot of pressure and water to erase but it seemed to work. Left item to dry and when I went to look I discovered it still had many areas showing a spreading blue line. Erased, left to dry, looked, still some markings. Three times. And I can still see some areas with now faded blue marks. I've given up. It's only a t-shirt. UPDATE: Now November. I continued to use it WITHOUT problem. Just ordered another to stock up.

The top stays on the back while using unlike others!
Amazing! First of these type of pens where the top stays on the back while using unlike others! All the others are such a pain to use because the top falls off, gets lost or have to put top in my mouth which is not healthy! Works very well and makes projects so much faster and easier clean up.
