Nescafe Dolce Gusto KP120540 Mini Me Coffee Machine, 1500 W, Red/Grey

I have the original bigger dolce gusto and bought this for using in work . At first I was worried it wouldn't work the same or be as good but I was very wrong . Some wise it's great for fitting in a small kitchen or area , it's just thinner than the original one , with a smaller water container and it just neatly fits a cup or large glass. However it's really good , delivers great quick results . Easy to clean and works quickly .It gives you about 3 full cups before you need to refill the water but it's easy to refill , as the water container just slide out and back in again .For making tea / coffee you just place a pod in the top and pull down then slide the top button and the water heats up and puris you drink out . For certain drinks you need to add a second milk pod .I'm very pleased with it and if you have a smaller area I would recommend getting this as it looks very smart and works very well .Also you get a free £10 credit for buying pods at the dolce gusto web site, it's a good site as you get several drinks you can't buy in the shops .

I already had one of these coffee makers (jovia) but decided to upgrade to an automatic one rather than guess the amounts. You just slide the gauge to the same as what is on the coffee pod and it automatically stops the water at the correct time so you get your drink as it should be with regards to strength etc..I also think the dolce gusto is the best coffee maker with regards to the variety of pods you can get for it, over other makes. The majority of pods are stocked in every supermarket, but on the dolce gusto site you can also get varieties that are not for sale, apart from directly from them.They do so many different coffees at different strengths so you will always find one that you like and stick with but is nice to experiment. They also do many varieties of hot chocolates, chai latte teas, iced coffee, iced tea, so many to choose from.It is the variety of drinks that makes me stick with this company and their coffee machines are very easy to use. Just turn it on, set the gauge to the same as the pod, stick in a pod and hit the lever. It will stop automatically after dispensing the correct amount of water and you have a lovely drink.

Read some mixed reviews on this product, but it's all positive from me... Bought this to replace the manual Jovia machine and am very happy with it... Compact unit, looks great on the kitchen counter. Really easy to use - much better than the manual machine. None of the leaking, shaking etc as mentioned in other reviews, however, I have found that supermarket own brand pods, even though they are compatible and work fine, do tend to "spit" a lot, whereas the proper Dolce Gusto pods do not. My only disappointment was that the Jovia machine came with a voucher to get Dolce Gusto store credit and this one didn't...

Bought as a replacement for another type of Dolce Gusto machine which didn't work at all, so was wary of this. Was pleased to find it is a good little machine that you set to the number of bars on the pods and then pull the lever over and it stops automatically, dispensing either hot or cold water as desired. Just have to remember to change lever setting when using 2 pods for a drink. Drips for a while after it stops, so have to empty drip tray often or the dregs dry on and are hard to remove. Would recommend for a small number as the water tank needs refilling after 3-4 x 210 ml mugs. Easy to remove and refill.

I love coffee this machine makes. It's a little noisy but doesn't take long. Perfect size, doesn't take up much room on my kitchen top. The automatic function is great, I can turn it on and know it wont overflow if I don't get to it on time. If I want a bit more water then I just change the setting to the smallest and turn on again,I can also switch it off manually by returning the handle on top to the middle position if I want to. It was on a promotion at the time, I'm glad I got it. Preheating the cup with hot water before use makes the coffee stay hot for longer.

This is a fantastic machine. Easy to use and not very noisy. Looks nice in the kitchen. Makes great café grade coffee which is just what you want in the morning. I was very please with it for about 3 weeks. Then it started turning not doing the mount quite right for a while then just turned off and refused to turn on. I changed the plug fuse which didn't help. Then left it a few days and was relieved on trying it again and it worked..... For a week and did the same thing.I've 'raised a case' with tefal on their website which has p'd me right off even before the complaints journey began. Their phone line is open 10:00-16:00 Mon to Fri which helps no one who works for a living. So the only alternative form of contact is a via Web form with drop downs that totally dictate subject of the complaint.So currently I'm extremely annoyed and wish I'd never purchased this product. This may change depending on how tefal deal with the issue but I'm feeling like there is a reason the product was so heavily reduced

My Christmas present to myself and so pleased I bought it. I love my cafetiere but the beauty of this is the speed, lack of mess and of course delicious coffee with so many options.It's so quick, allows me to get in an extra cup before work if I feel like it. There is such a choice of coffee/tea/chocolate including iced drinks.I bought a selection pack to try out and am enjoying finding my favourites.It's quiet with a pleasing hum, drink is made within seconds. The water tank is very easy to fill. I like the feature of being able to set the water level to the recommended level on the pod and leaving the machine to get on with it, but you can adjust manually to taste if you wish.The instruction booklet is excellent. Very straightforward and gives details of all the flavour options and whether they need 1 or 2 pods.I had to go online to the help section of the website to find that the base colour of the pods differ for those needing 2, but that might just be me missing the bloomin' obvious. Great purchase :)
