Digital Multimeter 1000V 10A Test Lead Cable Probe 2 Pcs

Leads themselves are reasonable quality, probes are fine.Problem, for me at least, is the plug end.The shrouds are too long and are too small diameter wise. had to trim them.Worst thing was the plug action, slides right out.After trimming the shroud I had to use a pick and bend out all the contacts to make it fit.Its not me having an odd meter, tried them in several meters, an oscilloscope etc.Looks like a step in production was missed as the contacts are not bowed out.Cheap 4mm plugs have 4 sides that spring out to catch the socket as the central core is only about 3mm.The plug tip is semi rounded, looking down the shaft is like an octagon with alternate sides removed.I imagine in production they force this inwards to make all 4 sides expand out.You would need a jig to avoid breaking the connector, hence my use of a pick.For all my moaning they are still very good value, best of the cheap leads.Cost me ~£1.50 in P&P, which is ridiculous.

Bought this as replacement for leads on my cheap multi-meter. These were way cheaper than similar items available from UK sellers. Took just over a week to arrive by mail from China and were well packaged.Brilliant product quality with nice, comfortable, rubber hand grips and protective end caps on the contacts. These caps are particularly appreciated at the sharp end of the probes but will also help to prevent ingress of dirt and moisture at the other ends too - useful to me on my boat where corrosion can be an issue. The actual wires are quite thick too so I expect that they will last longer than others that I have bought in the past.As other reviewers have said, The plastic outer plugs at the meter end are slightly too large to fit in the sockets on my meter but these were quickly and easily amputated with a sharp knife (the removable end - caps still fit over the metal bits).Also point worth noting is that at about 15cm (almost 6 inches) the probes are quite a bit longer than many others so didn't fit in my meter's carry case.

These were a stupidly cheap price. However I was surprised by the quality - they are nice quality leads! They have covers for the probes (and the other end of the leads) so you don't spike yourself with them and the probes are solid, nice to hold and seem reliable. The only issue I had was the connectors wouldn't fit in my multimeter properly as the insulation tubing was slightly too wide. 30 seconds with a stanley knife later, I had cut off most of the insulation for the connectors so I could shove them in. It's still not a perfect fit but it does the job.These came from China but arrived within a week or so of ordering.

These are really inexpensive so should be treated as such.Ive noticed quite a few people complain that they have broken. if your careless wrapping these around your multimeter or just plain not taking care of them they are going to break.Bought these to replace a broken set for rough battery voltage testing so accuracy isnt an issue. Work fine and actually seem fairly robust for the price.Dont complain they broke when you abused it and paid this price

Exact replacement for broken old leads

Excellent, actually exceeded my expectation, well made but a small note of advice is that initially, when tested on my multimeter, they didn't work! Upon investigation I realised the the plastic shrouds on the plugs to the meter were a bit long so there was no connection, this may not apply to you if you have a different meter though, but thought I ought to point it out.

Bought these as I had lost one of my leads and I didn’t want to spend a fortune on a new set. Really good quality and work as they should. Real good value for money.
