Perixx Peripro-303GR Small Trackball, 1.34 Inches Replacement Ball for Perimice and M570, Glossy Red (18021)

I got this ball for the Logitech MX Ergo. The original ball had too much static friction, making it hard to make precise small movements. It would stick, then move too far. This ball has very low friction. It is easy to make small movements. The feeling is very smooth as well. It fits well in the mouse.If anything, I wish the rolling (not static) friction was higher. My thumb sometimes gets tired because this ball moves so easily, you have to engage a lot of thumb muscles to hold the pointer in place at times. This is sort of hard to describe. I personally like the slightly gritty and slower feeling of the blue Logitech M575 trackball better. Sadly you cannot buy that by itself.I recommend this ball. The red looks good in the MX Ergo. It is a deep dark blood red. Not much glitter in it unfortunately. Some room for improvement but largely better than the original silver ball. Price is reasonable, too.

I bought this replacement ball for my Logitech MX ERGO, which worked well for me before I accidentally dropped it and subsequently put a pock mark on the original ball. The ERGO still worked but would occasionally get stuck when the support pegs would catch the pock and cause the ball to resist - not enough to really hurt anything but just enough to make digital drawing difficult and just enough to annoy me. This replacement ball has taken care of that for me and has proven to be a worthwhile expense for me.The ERGO and the M570 have the same size ball, so this ball can be used in either (I was using the ball from my old M570 in the ERGO while I waited for this ball to arrive). Replacement is a 30-second procedure and requires no special tools, though a pencil does make getting the old ball out a lot easier.There are two different finish types available, glossy and matte. I chose the glossy in red. Operation has been absolutely smooth with no resistance at all and no catches. I haven’t noticed any operational differences between it and the original gray ball that came in my ERGO. And, in my opinion, the dark red of this ball actually looks a little nicer than the original silver ball as well as the blue M570 ball.This wasn’t an expensive replacement and so far it has worked out very well for me. It has restored operation of my trackball to what it was before I damaged the original ball, which is really all I needed. Based on my experience with it, this is an easy replacement ball to recommend if you need to replace the ball in either a Logitech M570 or an MX ERGO.

The media could not be loaded. At $9 each, these mouse balls breathed new life into an old product! The smoothness and deep shine is unparalleled but beyond the Cosmetic level, they function flawlessly as well. :-)My logictech trackball has been acting up, sticking, losing precision needing more frequent cleaning... I love this mouse and it only cost me $30. With electronics inflation (and price gouging) replacements cost twice as much! The ball was no longer as smooth as new so it was more fussy about how clean it was in order to roll smooth. This where also reduced the accuracy of the mouse.I couldn't decide on color so I bought one green ball and one red ball. This replacement ball is described as a replacement for the M570 trackball. Yes, it fits, and it works, but not in the same way. But no, it does not exactly replace the OEM blue ball. Don't know if there is a tiny difference in size (maybe it is almost imperceptibly larger), or if it is its coating. Maybe it just needs some break-in period. The fact is that it does not perform as smoothly as the stock blue one. And I think that the description should be more detailed and mention the differences, because as it is, is NOT a replacement for the OEM M570's ball.Anyway, it didn't work for me, so I returned it.YMMV.Edit 20-oct-2020: I decided to keep it, after all. I drop my trackball too often, with an imminent risk of damaging or losing the ball, and I don't trust that these spares will be as easily available in the near future, so I'll use it for a while to see if I can break it in, or get somewhat used to it.

Oooooo, so pretty! Green is my color, so naturally I wanted a green mouse ball if I could get one. This is a 34mm mouse ball, and that means it will fit into both the Logitech Ergo MX/Plus, and the Logitech M570. I'd say that the ball accelerates a little faster than the stock Ergo MX/Plus grey colored mouse ball does. I can get across an entire HD monitor without having to lift my thumb; the stock ball seems to be able to get me 90% across the screen, but not quite all the way. I use this mouse on a Linux Mint system, and acceleration settings from the Cinnamon Control Panel Mouse/Tablet settings work well, as does the precision thumb button, with no fiddling with configurations. Other buttons are programmable as well with Linux. In bright light this mouse ball will look a very rich, slightly sparkly green. In low light it will seem green, but it won't scream I AM GREEN like it does in the photo. There was one tiny spot of adhesive goop on the ball, which I wiped off with a cloth in about 15 seconds, so if your ball comes a bit sticky just know it's fine and easy to remove. Ball arrived with no scratches.

Having a variety of colors is good for my artistic soul. The balls are surprisingly slightly different sizes.Sadly, my dark purple one ended up with a bubble. I thought it was a bit of food stuck on it. Attempted to scratch it off, ended up ruining the surface. Because the nodules are so tiny and sensitive, the ball kept getting caught.Was sad to have to toss it.

New replacement ball works great. I had looked in the past for a replacement for the ball and could not find anything. I thought that I was going to have to throw away my old Trackball, but this new ball saved its life. I bought the black ball, but they have several other colors as well. I will buy another for my other Trackball.
