They layout all the parts on page one for one of the bags of parts. Actually: two of those parts are in the second bag, and most the rest of the second bag of parts are documented on the bottom of page 3. You get to instruction #5, and it starts talking of parts #9-1 through 9-5... and there's only part #9 on page 1!Parts #20 and #21 come out of the second bag of parts, and #9-5 comes out of the first bag.The screws are hard to differentiate, yes, by relative size (no inch measurements of anything certain), but one of those sizes goes with the #9-? parts documented elsewhere.Nothing looked like the #17 bolts. None of the bolts supplied have a non-threaded section.Big hint is that there are two hub-cap looking sorts of parts: the plastic ones are #20, the metal ones are #9-3.Step 4 says to use part #21 but doesn't tell you what it's for. My best guess is it's used when hammering-on parts #19 and #20.Step 5 says part #9-4 is metal: it is plastic.Step 7 doesn't say if you're supposed to align holes. I didn't, and just screwed the sheet metal screws through the aluminum.I haven't really used it yet, just assembled today. It really looks like a 2 or 3 man job to roll-up or out. For roll-up, someone needs to hold tension on the cover to keep it straight while rolling. For roll-out, someone needs to pull the cover, while someone else needs to assure the roller stays stationary and doesn't get pulled into the pool.

Works great.Easy to install and operate.Makes it easy for me to operate the pool cover with it.I would recommend this reel if you have or planning to have a pool cover and want ease of covering your pool.Very satisfied.

It took a little figuring out because pieces were missing and there were extra pieces like the hardware kit covers more than one type of pool reel. We just took our time and after a couple trips to the garage junk drawer we were able to get it assembled. It’s a little rickety but works fine on a 35’ pool cover.

I haven't used this reel yet except to unbox it and see how easy or hard it is to handle. Once pool season is over, I will be putting this to good use. It is constructed of aluminum, so it's lightweight enough to move around and maneuver. It appears to be similar to my current reel, so I expect that it will perform as well. I have one reel for leaf netting and wanted a second one for the solar cover. I'll update once pool season is over and let you now how it handles the solar cover.

The assembly for this takes some time and planning, but it works well once you get it together. It's thin metal and the screws hold it together well. It does need something on the feet to weight it down when you start to reel the cover in.

Wheels do not stay secure. Main turning wheel can not be added as the holes do not line up. Very flimsy construction. I’m past the window for returns with Amazon and will not even give this item away. Disappointed.
