Herbal Essences White Grapefruit and Mint Shampoo 400ml

Gorgeous smell! I haven't used herbal essences products for years but this shampoo has made me realise why this brand used to be my favourite! It makes my hair so soft (I have slightly greasy hair) and it stays looking fresher for longer! I do normally wash my hair twice in one go just to make it even fresher but I find I don't need to use a lot of product so it has lasted me ages!

Great shampoo (& conditioner!) for thin & coloured hair, foams easily, is slightly volumising and I only had very minimal colour fade (my hair is currently partly bright blue). The white grapefruit & mosa mint definitely doesn't weigh thin hair down like the argan oil shampoo I tried from this same range. Lovely light fresh scent that doesn't linger after the wash. What's not to like!

I am torn with this product because I do not like the smell of it and it reminds me of headlice shampoo but it make my hair feel and look great. I am just not a fan of mint smells unfortunately

A pleasant-smelling shampoo. I am not convinced by the marketing blurb that it is any more 'natural' for better for your hair or the environment than any other bottle of shampoo - it contains the same basic ingredients as other shampoos and comes in a plastic bottle. Claiming on the bottle that it doesn't contain gluten is funny - who puts gluten in shampoo? and who cares if they wash their hair in gluten anyway? Just feels like they are trying to get brownie points from the anti-gluten crowd. Unless you are are planning to drink your shampoo, I think you'll be alright. It does a great job of washing hair so no complaints there.

• It smells more like citrus than mint; both are detectable. • I find the aroma isn't too overpowering, nor is it too weak; it's just the right balance. • This is probably the best shampoo I've ever used. • It lathers out easily. • Men can use it too. The smell doesn't linger — it isn't overtly feminine. • I look forward to having a shower now — I find the sensual experience relaxing.

Some of the other Herbal essence scents have seemed very sweet to me - this one is gorgeous - I liked it very much. My very fine hair looked very good - so I am very pleased with this shampoo. Personally I prefer smaller bottles of shampoo as I have tendency to drop the bigger ones when I am in the shower - but this one did not seem so bad. There is also a conditioner to match with this - I will have to try that out with it.

Love the smell. My hair feels so much nicer with volume after using this shampoo. But please make sure you use with the conditioner otherwise the hair would tangle a lot.
