This works, and what is more the kind of spray used does not in 90% of the cases frighten the animals. These are very small rodents. Needs to be sprayed when the animal is on a sheet of kitchen towel as the brown colouring of the medicine can stain.

Very easy to use and ideal to heal my birds toes . Very good value too

I had expected a pump that is pushed down with the finger, as per the picture but it came with a trigger-type pump as found on many household cleaning products, which is probably easier to use but dispenses quite a lot if you are spraying a small area. The disinfectant seems to be good stuff.

Used this to help treat my Dog’s paws after a walk. He has allergy to pollen in his front paws. Put it in a shallow bath to treat his paws works a treat. Great stuff !!

My elderly St Bernard is very prone to problems on the bony prominences of his legs. This can quickly affect the whole limb and causes him cellulitis and debilitating pain. The Iodine Spray isn't enough to cure this on its own, needs effective antibiotics, but it is brilliant to spray on the area after bathing to keep it clean and reduce licking, especially when the source of the infection bursts and starts to drain. Told vet what I was using and supported the use of iodine very strongly. Glad to say with medication and good basic care and hygiene a very painful cellulitis was relieved and healed beautifully

I found this iodine spray when looking for an alternative to the Savlon dry antiseptic iodine spray which was sadly discontinued a while ago.I did not receive the container pictured in the listing. Instead of the pump spray illustrated, I was provided with a pistol grip spray. It was difficult to deliver just the right amount. Too much was dispensed at one time which was both messy and wasteful considering the small size of the bottle. And unfortunately, due to the high alcohol content, it stings really badly when applied to a cut or graze.I've since discovered Inadine Povidone-Iodine non adherent dressings, (which I highly recommend) and found them to be a much more suitable (and pain free) addition to the first aid kit.I hope this review was helpful.

Great as it comes in a spray bottle so it's easy to use. Helped clean up sores on my dogs paws.

Great item, always handy to have with a pet.
