JETech Case for iPad Pro 9.7-Inch 2016 (Old Model), Slim Stand Hard Back Shell Cover with Auto Wake/Sleep (Black)

I have often been puzzled at the cost of things in that sometimes something that I assume would be expensive is very reasonably priced and, vice versa, something that I expect to be easily affordable is outrageously expensive. I know there are all sorts of factors such as business rates, supply v demand etc but it doesn’t always explain why two similar items should differ so much in price. My wife and I have an iPad each and the eye-wateringly expensive covers we bought with them were both showing serious wear so we decided to replace them and checked out the various websites, including Apple. Wow! Okay, if you want a hand stitched leather case for £100+ go for it but all we wanted was a cover to protect our iPads that doubled as folding stand with auto shut off when closed. The range? Over £80 to less than £10. We chose this one and a similar one from the same supplier for £20 for the two. Guess what? They work fine. Quick delivery, nicely made, choice of colours, instant fit, lightweight and slim. What’s not to like? I would happily buy from them again in a few years when I need to.Be careful to check the serial number on the back of your iPad when ordering as there are subtle variations for lining up the speakers on different models that initially seem the same. I suspect that some buyers of various iPad covers may not realise this which would lead to dissatisfaction.

Really good product, exactly what I was looking for my iPad Pro 9.7. It fits perfectly, every single hole matches and doesn't block any holes. The materials are high quality and it is really light. Can't got wrong with this cover, is a bargain in comparison to the official one and protects the back of my iPad!The lid closes really smooth and because of its magnets, it wakes up the iPad automatically once opened. I was looking for a while for iPad covers and after reading the good reviews of this one I decided to buy it. So far is 5 out 5 stars, strongly recommended!

Product was of good quality build. I like the that it covers almost 90% of the sides, so you probably would not get scratches on the sides. Only issues with it were that the cover felt a bit rigid but would probably get smoother with use, and that the cover seems to exceed the ipad slightly when close. Like when you close the cover, it comes out abit on the right side. Its not really noticeable but if you hold your ipad in a certain way, you can feel that it and it just feels uncomfortable. Maybe its just me being abit too critical? Anyway good product for the money. Bought it as a temporary cover while i search for better ones in the future but ones it came, it looks decent enough that I may not need to buy another one.

I've had an Apple smart-cover since the iPad was new. It's lasted all this time but now it's falling apart between the attachment and cover. Shame.I really wanted to replace like with like but thats not possible when the iPad is that old. Alas it seems there are no magnetic connect ones out there any more.I didn't want a wrap around cover but this one is quite think and doesn't add substantially to the bulk of the device. The back clicks securely on and the cover part has a quality feel to it. The 'sleep' works as expected. The 'stand' part works well with a good angle - but not as securely as the apple one.Happy with my purchase though.

The item in question arrived promptly and without issue, packaging was easy to open and get the item out of which cannot be said for all items of this nature.The cases colour, red in my case, is slightly darker than what the picture shows but its not incorrect or to flamboyent to be annoying in its shade.To fit the ipad into the case requires just a simple process of placing the ipad into the soft plastic enclosure and lightly pressing it down in all 4 corners untill you hear a light click to signify its all in place.Fit wise, its perfect and it isn't loose or falling out, it hugs the ipad correctly unlike some other cases from other brands which I've had in the past for older models of ipad.It has the ipad smart case functionality which allows the ipad to open and close as if you were just tapping the power button to put the ipad into standby and it works correctly for me without issue. The grooves you can see on the picture are to allow that part of the case to fold into a triangle and prop the ipad up if you wish to use and view from a side view, the strips are magnet so its very unlikely for triangle support to come loose which is really good feature of the case.The only negative some people might have of the case and while does not bother me especially is that the gooves on the case from protude out the back and do press onto the screen of the ipad, they are however soft and not hard so I cannot see any long lasting damage coming from them, it will leave a band on the screen in the similar way your finger does on the ipad screen, so you will just need to polish it off with a soft cloth like you use for glasses. I am personally going to get some shammy leather and cut it to size and place that on the screen but its not really a issue at the end of the day.I would recommend this to anyone who needs a snug fitted case which they want to protect their ipad plus have a support to view it on a desk and such.
