Sturdy and great value for money
This was bought after much hesitation for a two year old who has much experience breaking, cracking and destroying anything she comes across. I was considering other more expensive branded options in the hope that it would survive more than a week in the hands of said toddler.Am happy to say that it has now survived almost daily play and banging about for three months now.The case is extremely sturdy and even the lock remains intact after many attempts to destroy it. The doctors equipment is also of good quality. The thermometer has a fiddly bit that changes the temperature. The blood pressure machine has a cool feature where you press on the pump and the blood pressure level moves up and down with a clicking sound. The medicine bottle cap screws on and off. This has given us many hours of fun check ups and is of great quality. Highly recommended.Edit- was revisitung my reviews and thought would add that now after almost 2 years of play this set has still survived with no cracks, no breaks. We might give it away i soon and I fully expect to last at the hand of more children.

Great fun for imaginative play
Beautifully presented although packaging used to display was brittle and had to be thrown away. Catch on carry case is quite stiff for a child to open without help.Case contains 4 cups and saucers (or plates), 4 spoons, sugar bowl with lid, milk jug and tea pot.Advised not for use by under 3s - presumably because of size of spoons and also not sure how secure knobs on tea pot and sugar bowl lid are. Lids are also quite fiddly to put on tea pot and sugar bowl as only fit in one position. Removed teaspoons and lids before giving to 14 month old grandson.Has enjoyed playing with the set - organises and sorts contents, pretends to pour out tea and gives cups to us to drink from. Case used to put things in and can see it will double up as a suitcase later on.Cups are right size for small hands. No sharp bits on the plastic so can chew safely. Tea pot spout seems to have survived onslaught of sharp teeth.Worthwhile buy.6 months on this is still one of his favourite toys and is played with every visit.July 2012 - the tea set is still in use and still in good condition. One of the best buys we made.October 2013 - You've guessed it, the tea set still gets used and Number Two grandson is now playing with it too. It has survived heavy and often not very careful use with hardly a scratch. Can I up my grading to 5* please! This was one of the best buys we've made.July 2014 - the tea set is still being played with and looks as good as new.

More Tea Vicar
Bought for the Grandkids they love having Tea Party's and this is a good set, nice colours and good design, and they still love using them and all comes in a nice case with a carry handle for safe keeping. Well made as they do get chucked about some times, Functionality Oh yes

Great tea set for little hands!
Was perfect for my 20 month old granddaughter who has loved playing with it. The cups and teapot are just the right size for little hands. Being plastic it’s easy to wash and keep clean. The handy storage case is perfect for keeping it tidy and all together when not being played with.

Tea set - could be better!
The tea set looks good! But the carry set had a tag attached that we struggled to remove. If it’s an item to be used make sure the tag can be removed. The quality of the cups, spoons etc is not that great. The lids for the sugar pot and teapot don’t close and keep falling out or in, just shows poor quality items. My daughter loves the colours so we have kept it but the item could be made better.

Great - hours of play for very little money. Buy one for each child!
Hours and hours of fun. We took this on holiday and it kept my granddaughter busy all week. The lids are a challenge for a 15 month old s they are not symmetrical but she did not mind the challenge- just handed them to us when they fell inside the teapot/ jug once again! They are not as strong as the ELC ones she has but are perfectly fine and it is much better to have a case to put them in so they don't get mixed up with other toys. Unfortunately, a dog at our villa grabbed a lid and chewed it before being made to drop it. And do you know, it was hardly bent and still useable! Now that is impressive!!Update Dec 2016. We have just bought another for a friend's child. Our original one is in use every day still in the bath and now the new baby enjoys holding the cups by the handle and waving them around. Is there any other toy that has had so much play per pound?
