Q: Should this be available for sale given the main use is to jam car fob locking devices?

Q: Is the antenna connector a standard female SMA?

Correct, it is female SMA. NOT RP-SMA! This is a different connector type and is often confused with SMA. Thank you.

Q: Does this come with an antenna?

There's no antenna with this bundle. Some units were supplied with a simple telescopic antenna with a SMA connector just to get the user started but to get the most out of the SDR it's best to use an antenna specific to the frequency of interest.

Q: Hi - hope I don't sound rude but why is this one so much more money than they many cheaper ones from China? Are the others cheap replicas - or same?

Not wishing to be pedantic but the 'Chinese' versions are not counterfeit as the HackRF One is an open source design therefore anybody can produce it. However many of them are utter dung, substituted (out of spec) parts, incorrectly placed parts and PCBs with incorrect tracking. Many have found this with the portapacks which will not accept firmware updates. Personally I would but something recommended by gretscottgadgets as you are likely to get some results if there are any issues.
