Works okay, but with a double-coated, long-haired German Shepherd, It doesn't get down to the undercoat as well as a normal "humans" big hair rake, so it's a bit of a waste in that respect. If you're looking to get deep into your dog's long coat, the spines aren't long enough, and if you put it down for a second anywhere near the dog's mouth, expect the handle to get punctured when the dog swipes it. Seriously, just buy a big comb for better control and more accuracy.

Absolutely one of the best inventions regarding dog grooming! My two labs shed a lot of hair throughout summer yet this removes a lot of it before it falls to the floor. The coat looks lovely and shiny when finished. The ability to retract the bristles means one quick swipe with a finger and its clean. Far better than the other brushes I've used where I've had to spend a few minutes cleaning the hair from the bristles after each brush. Well worth £20

Retractable brush makes grooming so much easier! Wish I'd had one years ago. Great product, good quality, nice sturdy handle, well made, wire brush has retained its shape and not got bent like other slicker brushes I've had. Recommended.

this brush is brilliant.... I have a small dog who sheds all year round. I have used other different products but this one is the best .it may be a bit more expensive but worth it, it is easy & comfortable to use. it only takes me 10 mins to brush my dog now where it used to take me an hour. I have less hair falling off my dog & around my home. it does exactly what it says it does. my dog is happy so I'm happy.

This is a great brush. My dog really loves being brushed with it and it's really effective at removing dead hair in her coat. Super easy to remove the hair without having to bang the brush, you simply press the button, the 'spikes' retract and then you ca literally blow the hair away.It's expensive but I had a cheaper brush before and it didn't even last two months. This one should last for many years.

Fantastic brush, nice to hold and being self cleaning is very handy. It is very good for my husky and collie who have challenging coats, it keeps their coats in good shape, would highly recommend.

Bought this brush as thought it would be perfect as it was so expensive.handle came off this week really disappointed with it.would ask for replacement or refund if I could get in touch with seller....

Best dog brush I have had and I have had many!! Best bit is when the brush takes the hair out the brush automatically. This is normally a problem for those wire brushes!
