Works great for a Roku Express box
After 2 previous attempts to get a compatible device. This worked immediately after plugging in! I went to the settings in my Roku device and it had automatically switched from Wireless to Wired! No more buffering issues from using our wireless network now. Happy customer😁

Good bit of kit
Thought there was a problem with this, but it turned out it was a faulty internet cable. Works really well, with the Roku.

Great product.
What a great idea! I can now have a wired Internet connection to my Firestick, which in my opinion is so much better than WiFi for streaming movies. Couldn't be easier to use, plug n play done! If buffering is an issue with your Firestick then I'd recommend one of these 100%

It does work with the Roku Express 4K
I hope this is helpful for those that want to ethernet wire their streaming device as the online info is unclear and even conflicts. Even the Ugreen info itself says somewhere that it won't work with any Roku device but I'm pleased to report it does work with the Roku Express 4K 3940.I was also confused how the actual connection would be made as there didn't seem to be enough ports on the streaming devices in question, but it's actually very obvious and easy when you get the devices. The Ugreen has one slot for your RJ45 cable and two leads. One lead connects to the Roku device and one connects to the USB to 3 pin Mains Plug. Both the device set up and the wired connection were pretty much plug and play - easy and quick to set up through the Roku account/remote. No additional items required (apart from your ethernet cable).

Green ethernet adapter
Great product and sturdy easy to install and cables are long which is nice to see. I know it states on up to 100mbps but it basically shows 97mbps on mine and I get 150mbps. But all is great works great and I'm happy with it.

Replace WiFi connection with wired
The box says it's only for the Chromecast but there are some indications that it should work with the latest (2017) Amazon Fire Stick and Fire TV as they both have the Amazon ethernet adaptor recommended for those that don't want to use WiFi to connect to the internet. So I decided to take a chance and was very pleased to see it worked with no problems. Basically it replaces the provided power cable but adds an ethernet socket. As soon as fitted it, it connected via ethernet, i.e. wired, without me having to do anything to set it up. As soon as it did I noticed an increase in the speed at which videos and apps loaded. Also in my experience I find ethernet a lot more stable than WiFi. My only niggle was that it has a "cable tidy" attached at the USB connectors end of the cables which has to be move down the cables to allow you to use them. It's a very snug fit so it took some effort to move it so you have to be careful not to hold the USB connectors or there may be a chance of them detaching from the cables if they're pulled too hard. Other than that an excellent product which, as it happens, is a couple of quid cheaper than Amazon's own adaptor.

Limited to 100 Mbs
This works fine, but be aware that it's a 100 Mbs model, so if you have modern broadband you'll probably find it rather slow.
