Will you replace your Hario Filters?
As a frequent user of Hario paper filters, I was apprehensive of trying the Melitta Size 1x4 Filter Coffee Makers. However, I can confidently offer my assurances to others that there was no need for such trepidation. The combination of exceptional quality and unbeatable value on offer from these filters makes purchasing them a no-brainer at a significantly lower cost than Hario, yet no discernible lessening in the taste of the coffee filtered by these papers.Let's start with the quality. These filters are impressively sturdy and well-constructed. They seem adequately of an equal thickness to Hario and offer equally great coffee filtering performance. I didnt notice any issue with leakage. They fit my coffee makers [V60, Clever Dripper, Switch] perfectly, so there's no worry about them tearing or collapsing during brewing.I also love that they efficiently trap all the coffee grounds while allowing the rich flavors and essential oils to flow through. The result and performance? A clean, smooth cup of coffee every single time! What truly surprised me is how much better my coffee tastes since using these filters. I’ve noticed a significant difference in flavor clarity—no more gritty surprises in the bottom of my cup. It's like a breath of fresh air for my morning routine! In terms of value, the Melitta Size 1x4 filters are an absolute steal. With 80 filters in a pack, they offer fantastic value for regular coffee drinkers like myself. To be honest, I used to use Hario filter papers, but these Melitta filters have far surpassed them in both quality and price. The Hario filters are great, but when it comes to flavor and cost-effectiveness, Melitta takes the crown! In summary, the Melitta Size 1x4 filters are an essential addition to any coffee lover's arsenal. If you're on the hunt for filters that deliver on both performance and price, I wholeheartedly recommend these. You won’t regret it!Delivery was smooth. Items were boxed well.

Great filters
Melitta Original Coffee Filters: A Classic for a ReasonAs a daily coffee drinker, I've tried my fair share of coffee filters, and I always come back to Melitta Originals. Here's why they're a staple in my kitchen:Pros:* Consistent quality: Melitta has been making these filters for ages, and their quality remains consistently high. They're reliably strong and don't tear easily, even when filled with coffee grounds.* Perfect fit: Sized perfectly for my filter coffee machine, they fit snugly and prevent any grounds from escaping into my brew.* Natural brown: I prefer the natural brown filters as they don't have that bleached paper taste that can sometimes affect the flavour of the coffee.* Good flow rate: These filters allow for a good flow rate, ensuring optimal extraction without over-brewing.* Widely available: Melitta filters are easy to find in most supermarkets and online, making them a convenient choice.Cons:* Not the most eco-friendly: While the natural brown option is a step in the right direction, these are still disposable filters.Overall:Melitta Original Coffee Filters are a classic for a reason. They're reliable, well-made, and consistently deliver a great cup of coffee. If you're looking for a dependable filter that gets the job done, look no further.

Effective but Fragile
I purchased these filters for a non-traditional purpose: making cheese by separating curds from whey. They worked well for this task, providing good separation. However, the paper disintegrates quickly, which can be frustrating, especially for tasks requiring longer use. That said, the pack offers a generous quantity, so there's plenty to work with.Pros:• Effective for filtering tasks like separating curds and whey.• Comes in a large pack, offering good value for the quantity.• Fits well with various uses beyond coffee making.Cons:• Paper disintegrates quickly, limiting use for prolonged filtering.• May not be durable enough for heavier or thicker substances.

Great value, perfect for filter machines - now 6 months in and used daily!
I have two filter coffee machines, one large and one small. These filters work fine in both - but only just in the small machine, so make sure the size works OK for you as you can purchase smaller ones. To be sure the filter doesn't snag in my smaller machine I do a little fold on the the edge with the seam and with a little drop of water I can make the filter adhere to the machine and not ride up. With that caveat in mind, these filters work really well. They are super porous so the water flows through fairly quickly which means the flask is ready to use just a minute or so after the water has stopped running through the machine. Despite the filter paper being quite fine, they have not broken when I've taken the used filter (with grounds) and disposed of it. I've used these papers with my machines for over six months literally DAILY and had zero complaints. Add the low price to the list of positives! What's not to like!Peter - Bournemouth UK
