Accuracy? How would you know unless a man from the ministry measured both devices! And as a small amount of air escapes when removing the device that inflates the tyre bus be impossible to measure. As this is a purely mechanical device no worries about flat battery. Small enough to fit in glove box so always available. Great price and fast free delivery so very good purchase.

As others have commented, this gauge is very inaccurate, although easy and simple to use. I took about ten readings from the same tyre over a two minute period and they varied between 20 and 50 psi, when the actual tyre pressure was about 35 psi. The build quality of the gauge is poor, the calibrated shaft which extends under pressure has an uneven finish where the graduations have been added, which may account for the low readings. Compared to my very old “Dunlop” gauge which has failed after at least 40 years of service, in my opinion this Draper gauge is essentially rubbish and not of the quality one would expect from this company.

Easy to use and in an era of everything needing batteries it’s nice to have something mechanical/ reliable. Bought this to keep in the car and seems to do the job.

Works well. But you have to be consistent with how you hold it. If the gauge is pointing down slightly, you will get a max reading every time

Excellent. I have a motorised scooter, and because the wheels are quite small, I needed a pressure gauge which had its valve at the end of the tube, rather than one with it's valve sideways on to the tube. This Drapers tyre pressure gauge ticks all of my boxes, and it also gives me a very accurate pressure check. I can therefore recommend it for use with scooters such as mine and, I suspect a whole range of motorised scooters just like mine.
