MasterCast Clear Art Coating Resin 400g Tester kit, ASTM D-4236

Does exactly the job expected of it. Had a project to restore a tiled garden table which was badly frost damaged causing most of the tiles to blow and loose the top layer. It is the first time I have used epoxy..I removed the flakes and once fully dry applied a sealing coat with a brush. After I poured on the top layer and it was easy to spread around using a spatula, unfortunately I underestimated the amount required and have ordered more to finish the job hopefully ending up with a perfectly flat finish ...this stuff is very easy to mix and handle and layers perfectly, bubbles are dealt with easily with a hot air gun and contrary to another review it is perfectly clear. After a day it has set really hard and I am confident it will be durable and easy to look after

I have been using this resin for over 3 months. Master cast resin is easy to use. It mixes well in 3 minutes and bubbles removed with a blowtorch or heat gun. It sets quickly, working time usually 10-15 minutes max, depending on the air temp. Very pleased with final outcomes. Clear! Beautiful.

I love the effect I've got from using this resin. It's easy to use but a bit expensive. It wa delivered the next day which was lovely. Unfourtunetly it had no instutions or measuring cups ect.. Which wasn't mentioned one would need in advert & so that was rather frustrating.. A wooded measuring stick was provided but with nothing explained what it is or how to use it.. Fourtunetlt looks of you tube videos to follow. Be prepared to get very sticky..

The media could not be loaded. I love this product! 2 months ago I had never heard of epoxy resin. It all started with the bathroom floor and now I can't stop! Brilliant value for money and very fast delivery A ++++

I am not one for reviews but I had to. I LOVE this resin.The consistency/thickness/velocity is perfect. If like me, you like to control your design well and still have a bit of movement exactly how much you want it, this is for you.The best part is that the cured piece is almost exactly to the design that I created. Just minimal movement in the curing stage. Some resin move so much in the curing process that you are looking at a surprise when it cures; nothing like what you created! If like me you like your creations to stay put with minimal movement you will lOVE this resin.I can't wait to try their Hi-build resin which has even less movement and will be great for geode work for example. Thank you!

I've been using this over the past month or so, it's very easy to use and I've been getting great results from small to fairly large casts. My only issue is that the last order was £73, it's now gone up to £95!

I have used a different resin before but changed to this one. Was a little nervous using it however am seriously sold on this MasterCast Clear Art Resin. It is easy to use as a 1:1 resin to harder. It has a longer than average setting time which is great as it allowed me to go back and smooth edges on my canvas board - sets beautifully in about 4-6 hours. The only slight inconvenience is there are no instructions or tools that come with it. For the price, i would have expected some instructions, measuring jugs, etc. with the pack. Otherwise, this will now be my top favourite resin for canvas art.

Even though I mixed it fully it doesn't set properly. I bought it because the bulk buy appealed to me but no way as good as to the resins I have used in the past. False economy and I have ruined two stretched canvases too. Don't buy it trust me.

It will not harden. I've mixed it to the prescribed ratio 3x all the same 5 days later still soft.

Ich nutze diesen Epoxidharz um meinen bemalten Steinen,einen schönen Glanz und Schutz zu verleihen. Gute Qualität und einfache Handhabung. Bin damit sehr zufrieden.

estoy encantada con el efecto. Lo usé en una mesa y queda genial. Lo único por poner alguna falta es que los portes valen casi mas que el producto

Sehr zufrieden. Bin noch Anfänger und kenne mich noch nicht so gut aus, aber die beiden habe ich als erstes gekauft und das Resin danach konnte nicht mithalten. Es ist super leicht zu verarbeiten und es trocknet wirklich wie angegeben. Auch, wenn man mit Farbe arbeitet. Man kann es gut verarbeiten aber nächsten Morgen ist es schon getrocknet und man kann sein Werk begutachten und sich freuen. Ich werde es mir jetzt wieder bestellen aber eine Nummer größer.

Ich habe mir die probier Version bestellt und bin begeistert. Obwohl ich die Flüssigkeit als *etwas dick* einstufen würde, hat mich das Ergebnis voll überzeugt. Ich brauche es um Leinwände damit zu überziehen. Bis jetzt hab ich mit einem preiswerteren Produkt gearbeitet, war mit den Ergebnissen aber leider sehr unzufrieden, weil sich ständig Risse gebildet haben. Ich teste jetzt noch ein bisschen und werde mir dann wohl eine größere Menge bestellen.
