Used these to improve heat retention in a shed we use to house pet rabbits where I wanted something that was not a fire hazard. There was a small 80w heater in the sleeping area (1.2m x 0.6m x 0.5m) which attempted to keep the temperature above 10 degrees C but failed to do this on the coldest nights. I insulated the sleeping area with a couple of layers of these tiles (walls and ceiling) and the problem was solved... the heater maintained the temperature regardless of the weather and, according to the plugin power monitor, reduced power consumption significantly as it switched on for shorter periods and less often. Interestingly, I had run through some calculations on the thermal efficiency of cork tiles and tried to predict the power required to shift the temperature x degrees and the actual results are inline with this (albeit slightly lower probably due to the opening in and out of the sleeping area... so it kind of does what it says on the tin.Final points... the adhesive works really well and the tiles, even though they are doubled up, have not budged at all over the six months since I installed them. In case anyone else uses them for a similar purpose: rabbits should not eat cork as it interferes with their digestive system... so we covered the corners with plastic edging strips... no signs of nibbling.

Having read some comments, I was worried that the adhesive would not work, but I have found it to be excellent. The Tiles were easy to put onto my exterior, north facing wall which is now much better insulated. I simply press the tiles onto the wall and afterwards tap them with a rubber hammer. The cork is smooth and even and looks really good. The tiles have a good thickness but at the same time can easily be cut with a stanley knife and ruler. I have already ordered more. I am delighted with the tiles.

A little thin but has made an effective pin board. You do need to place them carefully as the backing is very strong and they will tear if you need to remove them.

Well, thank goodness I bought these.They are so versatile.I have stuck them to an unsightly end cabinet and made it into a pin board.It looks so much neater.Very easy to do,but here is a tale of woe.I was just about to stick the last piece and the door bell rang.I put the sticky side onto my table.Very hard to get off. I don't think it has ruined the table, but treat it as you would any super glued object.With care. Keep away from children and pets.xx

Only complaint is the thickness, Purchased to do a cork board wall, but it isn't thick enough to hold a drawing pin. Luckily I had some spare, and have just ordered another pack, and will double layer them (stuck to each other well)

Bought these for surrounding a dartboard cabinet so that my stepson didn’t put ugly holes all over our wall from stray darts. Lol. The tiles are self adhesive but we found that they peeled from our painted walls easily due to heat temperatures in the room so had to use tacks to keep them fixed to the wall.

Used for flooring in a painting studio. They're easy enough to apply and cut. They look great but peeled up at the edges of the room straight away. I did varnish them with a floor varnish. They've been down about 3 months now and haven't gotten any worse, they actually seem to be settling a bit. Overall I'm happy with them. It's really nice to walk on and gives the room a soft, natural feeling.

Resultan muy práctica y fáciles de instalar sobre cualquier superficie. En mi caso, se han colocado sobre un friso de madera y han pegado perfectamente (lo suficiente para su uso). Al ser piezas sueltas, las posibilidades de cikcación se multiplican exponecialmente. La relación calidad-precio es buena y ventajosa. Si se instalan con cuidado (y la superficie lo permite) no se notan las juntas.Eso sí, las chinchetas que se empleen no puedenser muy largas, porque las planchas no son muy gruesas,
