I bought this whistle after it was recommended by a couple of people, including teachers who use it in playgrounds. I have been using it for cycle coaching and it has been fantastic. It is compact enough to keep in a pocket and very easy to clean with a quick spray of antibacterial cleaner before I put it away for the next session. The sound is different to the classic ball whistle but it is still very clear. After watching a few YouTube videos I learned how to make different tones with it and that has really helped when riders are further away and I need to get their attention quickly. Overall, a great whistle if you want something durable, hygienic, and effective, even if the tone is not the traditional whistle sound. I am very happy with it.
