Pretty simple product that works exactly as expected. It fits perfectly with my existing Apple power pack and charges my MBP without any trouble. An effective solution when you want to change the power plug end of the adapter (from Australian to UK in my case) and don't want to buy an entirely new adapter from Apple at 10x the cost!I also wanted to recommend Amazon's locker collection service. I had this delivered to a locker round the corner from my apartment and it was SO much easier than needing to be home to receive my package. I was able to pick it up at my leisure and the process was extremely simple. Can't believe no one has thought of doing this before. Well done Amazon!

I thought that having the cute special plug on my Mac power supply was cool. But I'm not always that close to a power outlet so I bought this to extend the lead from the wall socket to the laptop.It fits perfectly and gives me an extra 6 feet to work with. 1.8 metres in new money.It was delivered promptly, to Northern Ireland (some so-listed 'UK suppliers' will not deliver to NI) and well packed.The special socket that goes into the adaptor is snug and feels secure. The cord is thick and sturdy and the moulded plug is textured to allow for a firm grip when you remove the plug from the wall socket.Do yourself a favour and don't be huddled up close to the wall socket in an uncomfortable position while your Mac recharges. Add this cable and sit further away.A proper job!

I am not convinced this it a genuine Apple product (so I apologise if it is): nevertheless, the product works as well, unlike a the majority of aftermarket Apple products.Additionally, I am not sure this is a new product either; but nearly new. The cable is dirty in places and there is a small cut in the protective plastic at the base of the plug (but nothing to be alarmed about). The packaging of the product suggests it's not new, but then again minimalist packaging is good for the environment!Can't argue at the price though...Overall, an excellent product, but you are left wondering about the honesty of the advert.EDIT:Having coiled this up for transportation, I noticed a deep cut that has gone through the protecting outer coating and even into the copper cables themselves. The cut could have only been done with a knife.I an only conclude from this, this is possibly a new item that has been returned due to damage and is then sold on again.

Got this to avoid plugging the bulky MacBook charger to the wall socket where it might get damaged. This lead allows the charger to be tucked out of the way. Bit pricey for what it is but quality seems fine

My Apple one blew up. So I needed a quick replacement and this was great.... however depending on what kind of power outlet I'm using, it can crackle when I plug it in which is slightly worrying. My Apple one was the same though and I've moved house since buying this and still does it at my new place so I doubt it's because it's not a genuine product... still, it doesn't happen often and it is great value for money considering the expensive alternative! I bought this over a year ago now and still use it daily

I have just returned from the USA where I bought 2 Ipads. I was worried about getting a power lead that would replace the American one supplied. I signed onto Amazon,, bought 2 of these power cords and the were waiting for me when I got home. Work perfectly. So if you are travelling to the USA and want to buy any Ipad model, get this. The added bonus is that the cable is long enough to sit comfortably and use it while powering it up rather than having to sit within 1 foot of the wall socket.Strongly recommend. Plus really quick delivery.

Good replacement - allows me to leave the original at home on my workstation, and an just plug the power supply straight in, and take this with me to charge while away. Nice product - works fine - for some reason the design is such that where the unit plugs into the PS, it is slightly smaller than the Apple design, so is obviously OEM. Delivery was quick, and it does the job.

Dieses Originalkabel wird von MEG4TEC preiswert versendet! Bei diesem Original gibt es auch keine Beanstandungen, eben ein Original! Super für den England-Urlaub, erspart den Adapter.

Tried plugging this in to my Macbook charger, and it wouldn't fit. It nearly broke my charger. DO NOT BUY.
