These are well built, simple couplers. I used them to extend some network cabling temporarily, and they did exactly that.I can't comment on the life span of this product, but the ones I purchased did as expected and for their price, have served me well.I would recommend these, well worth keeping some stock of if you work in IT.

They're RJ45 couplers. They do what they say on the tin. They fit fine in a Unifi patch panel. I'm running 2.5Gbps over them without issue, so I'd imagine they're decent quality enough for 10Gbps but haven't tested.

A high percentage do not latch to RJ45 connectors

Love these little things. Makes running cables around easier as i can get things up and running quickly with the flexibility to change later. Work well at full gigabit speeds. I printed some keystone mounts to make a custom patch panel too.

Bought two packs of these for home network patch panel. Tested each coupler and they all work. What's more, they grip the ethernet cables snugly on both sides and sit solidly in the patch panel. Very pleased. I've tried assorted wired keystones and those introduce considerable twist with 23 AWG Cat 6 cables. These are what I'm settling on. If you are building a home network with a patch panel, this is a good place to start.
