This concealer is very easy to apply and last for a very long time. I'm very happy with the product and have been using it for over a year.

I've been hunting for an everyday concealer that doesn't require a full makeup brush routine at 7 AM. I grabbed this Maybelline Eraser mostly because of the built-in sponge tip, hoping it would speed up my morning dash before work. 𝗖𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 The formula itself is surprisingly lightweight for something claiming to tackle dark circles. Shade '01 Light' is quite neutral, not overly pink or yellow, which makes it quite versatile for fair-to-medium skin tones. It blends out effortlessly. The built-in sponge is actually quite decent at diffusing the product under the eye, and the formula doesn't settle terribly into fine lines as long as you prep your skin properly with a bit of moisturiser or eye cream first. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 This is where things get a bit polarizing. The twist-up mechanism pushes the liquid directly into the micro-corrector sponge. 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘢 𝘧𝘦𝘸 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘶𝘴𝘦 to get anything out, so don't assume the tube is broken. While it's incredibly convenient for dotting product on the go, the sponge can feel a bit unhygienic over time since you can't remove it to wash it. I often end up dabbing the product onto the back of my hand first when dealing with active breakouts to avoid cross-contamination. 𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲 For around six quid (especially when it's on offer), it punches well above its weight. It lasts a solid workday, though I definitely recommend a light dusting of translucent powder over the top if you have an oily T-zone to stop it sliding around by mid-afternoon. 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁 - ✅ Excellent value for a solid, everyday medium-coverage concealer. - ✅ Formula is genuinely ultra-blendable and doesn't feel heavy under the eyes. - ⚠️ Shade 01 Light is quite neutral, so check swatches if your undertones lean heavily pink or golden. - ❌ The attached sponge applicator cannot be thoroughly cleaned, making it a potential hygiene issue for acne-prone skin.

I could see this was a top-selling product and honestly, I can see why. The quality is on par with far more expensive brands — and I say that as someone who has been spending £30+ on concealers. I chose the shade Light. I’m blonde and sometimes use fake tan, but I prefer a slightly lighter shade under my eyes and on the tops of my cheeks for a subtle contour and brightening effect. This shade was absolutely perfect for that. The formula is silky smooth and lightweight. It blends effortlessly and, most importantly at 48, it doesn’t settle into fine lines or creases. That’s a big deal for me. It also isn’t greasy, so my mascara doesn’t transfer or shift during the day, which I’ve found can happen with heavier concealers. Coverage is buildable without looking cakey, and it gives a fresh, bright look rather than a heavy made-up finish. It lasts well throughout the day and still looks natural hours later. For the price, this is outstanding value. Genuinely better than some of the high-end brands I’ve been using. I’ll definitely be repurchasing.

I love these Maybelline eye concealers. They come in a range of different shades, and I use the lighter shades for highlighting my face. These are a really reasonable price and the product is so light, not cakey at all. Definitely recommend - add this to your makeup bag!

Good but not enough pigment for very dark circle under eye

This is the second time I've gotten this concealer for my wife, and it has become a firm favourite in her makeup bag. A repeat purchase is probably the highest praise you can give a product, and this one has certainly earned it. My wife loves this concealer, particularly for under-eye circles and covering the occasional blemish. She finds the "Light 01" shade to be a great match for her skin tone. The built-in sponge applicator (the "eraser" part) is apparently one of its best features. It makes application very quick and easy, helping to blend the product seamlessly without it looking heavy or cakey. She says the formula itself is fantastic - it's ultra-blendable, as the description claims, and provides excellent coverage without settling into fine lines, which is a common complaint with other concealers. It's also been great for her, as she has mentioned it doesn't irritate her skin, living up to the "suitable for sensitive skin" claim. Overall, she's incredibly happy with the performance, coverage, and ease of use. Seeing as this is her second one, it's safe to say we'll be buying it again. Highly recommended.
