Looks like real slate!
I bought to go under an electric fire to make it look like a real fireplace! I wasn’t sure what I was getting or how it would look but I was surprised. The pad was heavier than I thought and looks like a piece of slate the quality is so good. It fit perfect under the fire. It was great value for the price paid I’m very impressed.

Very nice product. Good quality. . Perfect with my new electric stove! It is heavy so unpack and handle with care I have LVT flooring. I put furniture pads at strategic points on the underside of the mat.

So realistic!
I bought this mat to go under a little electric fire I bought, along with a fire place. This mat just made it look 100 times better. The slate effect is very realistic. We cut it to size with a hand saw, although worth noting if you do cut it, you lose the slate effect edge. It really does look like the real thing & is surprisingly heavy.
